I received this iPad as dead. It was a faulty NAND which I replaced with a new NAND after configuring the SYSCFG. It now works fine except for the rotation (please note this is after the restore and before activation (hello Screen), so no other apps loaded.

So I used to have an iPad here at the workshop, but it got sent over t Apple.

But, it was only 64GB, How do i upgrade the physical SSD?

So, I did a screen digitizer replacement for my mom's iPad 9th gen. This is actually the second digitizer replacement I have done on that iPad, I kinda botched the first one although it didn't have any issues with charging. The second time the repair went apparently smoothly. It was also bent so I had to take some time to bend it back into place.

After a while of my mom using it, she complains that when it charges the battery is stuck at 2%. The battery icon indicates that it is charging and it makes the chime when a charger is plugged in, but it still cannot charge past 2%. I tried force rebooting the iPad and that didn't seem to fix the issue either.

Idk if I accidentally damaged the battery or battery sensor during the repair, either when I was trying to bend the iPad back into place or when I placed a pick underneath the battery terminal as is customary when doing a repair to prevent shorts. I remember screwing the battery connector back in when finishing the repair.

My wife IPad has been smashed by the dog. Touch screen was working (I tested every corner and other places) but it was so smashed so we couldn't use it anymore. I ordered new digitizer and watched some tutorials and videos on YT how to do this. The hardest thing was removing old smashed digitizer and clean old glue. When I done it I connected new digitizer but it don't react for any touch. Sometimes screen is moving my it looks randomly. For me it looks fine but could you tell me what could be the reason? Pins looks fine for me but when I was removing old glue I scraped off some black paint on that thing between connectors and battery connector. Could it be the problem? Replacing digitizer in some service in Poland is pretty expensive and Apple can only replace whole device for price which is higher than new one (wtf).

I also tried to connect broken digitizer but I cut flex cable when I was removing broken digitizer.

Haven't opened it up yet and calling a repair company local to me was a guess in how much it would cost. I'd like to try and repair it myself. What does it sound like the problem could be.

Ordered a replacement screen digitizer and the new one doesn’t come with a home button cable? In the photos, it looks like the new digitizer comes with one, but when it arrived, it only had the two display cables.

Trying to figure out what I need to do and how to proceed as I am truly stuck without the home button cable. I’m wanting to retain the OEM cable to keep Touch ID and that shouldn’t be a big deal since I am not replacing the home button, but just the battery and digitizer.

My iPad front glass was damaged but the screen was OK. I brought a front screen replacement and tried to do it myself.

The progress did not go well because all the small pieces of broken glasses. And after I finish the replacement and reconnect again. My lcd turn to black and white strips.

May I know what should I do to save the iPad.

Im working on an iPad on behalf of someone, i realized the screws for the charging port fell off completely so i screwed them in and tightened them, everything seemed fine at first, apple logo was showing up but it was stuck in a bootloop, decided to go into recovery mode and restore it with apple configuration, gave me error 4013, now it just doesnt want to do anything, just bootloops but no logo, just black screen. I feel a bit anxious about it but yeah, idk what else to do.
