iPad 4 GSM: Ipad 4 Irregular Voltages and 0 amp draw

Hi, any suggestion is highly appreciated because I'm in a state of depression rn thankyou :D.

Disclaimer, I usually do a laptop repairs so mobile repair is not my specialty, sorry if my approach you found somewhat dumb.

the ipad comes with no display problem with 0 amp current draw, upon checking i found the voltages around the board (when the power button is pressed) is pulsing like 3v and goes back to 0v and so on.

this symptom is look like the ipad itself is trying to boot but failed, then i began to search if there is a short circuit across the board, alas there is no short at all and all voltages look like present and healthy except for the pulsing issue.

*the pulsing issue persists when the ipad is only powered by the battery. (with and without the power cable attached)

because i have no idea where to start diagnose further, i read in many forums that U2 tristar is likely to be the culprit, with that idea I tried to replace the tristar with a new one and the problem is of course still persist.

what i have already checked are

the battery is known good

charging port no problem (tried another one)

*  no short circuit

power button is good i think (i've tried jumper it from the on off from the power button connector and the problem still the same)

i think the real culprit will be U8100 which is the PMU because the PMU is responsible for power delivery to those component on the logicboard (right?) but im not sure because i don't have enough evidence yet to replace that PMU

or maybe the communications board (where the baseband chip located i suppose) can cause the issue?

iPad 4 Wi-Fi: Is a hot plate for screen removal the way to go?

I've been repairing iPad screens for a while now. I've been using a hot air gun. I was told that a hot plate is the way to go and makes removing the screen that much easier and quicker. Do you guys think this is true? Is it worth the investment to buy one? What temperature do you set it at? Do you heat both sides? And how long do you leave it on for? Thanks!

iPad 4 Wi-Fi: I replaced my iPad 4 screen and now it won't

I just changed my screen on my iPad 4, during the initial repair my iPad jumped on, I didn't want to damage it so I waited for the battery to run empty. This took several days. then I still waited even longer to get to it, at least 4- 5 weeks.

Finally, I continue the repair, run into a couple of snags. The digitizer cable where the little black plastic thingy that locks the cable in broke. It's so small I could not get it to click down because it came loose. However, I laid it in there and placed the tape back and other tape to hold the cable in. It seem to be in there so I connected the screen cables back. I notice the speaker cable next to the home connector also came loose when pulling back the black tape, but I placed tape on top to hold it down as well. Then screwed the Digitizer down and it seems to be holding everything in place. I've been recharging for about a hour just to check if everything is working properly before I fix in the screen completely. The first thing I notice is that it won't turn on. And It's seems that everything is in place, but it won't turn on.

Do you think the digitizer connector is not in good enough, and would that even effect the battery? Or should I just continue to charge it overnight. because the battery has been out for about 4 to 5 weeks.

Or do you think that the little black plastic piece that is a lock for the connector on the Digitizer is the problem? And can it operate without the little black plastic lock. And can tape replace the little black plastic lock instead? These parts are so delicate, I noticed. What protocol should I do next to know if the battery is charging or that I've connected everything properly. Any suggestions to help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

Unfortunately I don't have an iPad schematic. The digitizer cable is not broken it's the little black plastic thing that locks it. it's really fragile. and it's on the logic board. The cable itself goes in fine and it seems snug in place as well. And my battery was completely discharged. So I'm charging it. How can I check to know if the battery is actually charging up? And does that plastic connector lock be causing the problem?
