iPad 3 Wi-Fi: Recover iPad Pictures after Apple Factory Reset

Hello,

I have a 2 part question. After contacting Apple Support because my iPad was freezing they guided me to do an iCloud Back-Up and then delete my account to re-synced with the iCloud back up. Unfortunately the Apple agent did not verify our 'Manage iCloud storage' to see that out 'Camera Roll' Pictures were turned off. This deleted 4 years of very important pictures (to say the very least). I was transferred to an Apple Senior Supervisor, who admitted his agent's mistake and said that there was nothing they can do.

The Senior Supervisor tried to send us and 'iPod Nano' as compensation ($150.00) and said that we would have to try and find an Apple certified retailer to try and recuperate the lost data (pictures) on our own and AT OUR EXPENSE.

This is a nightmare and what Apple is offering is a joke. I searched the Internet for programs to recuperate the data to no avail.

1. Please advise if there is any way (software or other) to recuperate these deleted pictures (as they were not backup anywhere) as the only way would be via the hard-disk on the iPad.

2. Please also advise what course of action to take with Apple as what they are offering is a sub-standard brush off.

Thank you for your time and effort

My iPad won't charge. What should I do? I tried using different iPad Chargers and Cables but it doesn't do anything. I also tried plugging it onto the PC but it doesn't react as well.

I tried turning it off, then plugging the charger in and like what its supposed to do, it turns on! I don't know what to do now that I'm reaching 10% battery. Turned off wifi and turned the brightness on the lowest. I hope i get an answer before it dies off.

iPad 3 Wi-Fi: After Replacing the Screen it won't turn on

OK, so I replaced the screen and now the screen won't turn on. When I connect the ipad to my computer I see that Itune it knowledge the iPad. Now, I did broke the lcd spacer(I think is what it calls) the clip that push down the screen LCD cable. Also, I lost one of the home button screw. So I cut a piece of the flat cable that I had from the old digitizer and I insert it on top of the connector to push the cable down as I saw that this work in other forum, but it does not. Can anybody have any tips? Thanks

iPad 3 Wi-Fi: Will an iPad 3rd generation work with newer iOS software?

Hello, my wife recently purchased an iPad 3rd generation for my daughter for Christmas, but she didn't realize the generation was so outdated. Will the iPad 3rd generation be able to update to a newer (doesn't have to be iOS 11) iOS software? We're fine with an iOS 9 platform, but we want to make sure the iPad will still be able to keep up with that platform and still work efficiently and be compatible with apps. I've heard both sides of this- some say the update will bog down the iPad 3 until you can't use it, while others say they have old iPads on the new iOS update that work fine. We can't decide if we can use this iPad 3rd gen or if we will have to return it and get the new iPad 5th gen. Can someone please offer advice or experience regarding this? Help is appreciated.

Thank you.

iPad 3 Wi-Fi: Screen won't go on, beeps while charging.

Need a little help here. My iPad 3 wifi was dropped and I only get a black screen.

Also when connected to power it beeps every 3 to 4 seconds (same sound as the single beep the ipad makes when connected to a charger)

Here are a few things I tried doing with no success.

Connected to iTunes which sees the ipad when connected PC

Tried resetting it using the home+power button

Tired restoring it, and restoring via DFU mode

Opened it up and disconnected then reconnected the display cables. The only thing I noticed was that the backlight goes on and off.

I don't know what it could be. Is it the screen, cables or logic board? Any advice would be appreciated.

iPad 3 Wi-Fi: iPad 3 cycles apple logo when on charger, shuts off when disconnected.

Hope someone can help, I am working on an iPad 3 Wifi (A1416). When I received it, the battery would never charge no matter how long it was plugged into the ipad charger. When the ipad was disconnected it would immediately shut off. I could not connect it to iTunes since it would not turn on with USB power. I replaced the battery, which was definitely bad upon inspection (one battery section puffy), but the ipad is doing the same thing with the new battery. Would this be a motherboard issue? Since the ipad has the cycling issue, do I need to get it to boot up before it begins to charge the new battery?

iPad 3 Wi-Fi: Is this machine bricked forever

I bought a lot (about eighteen, 2011 and back iMacs and about a dozen different books from a major Mac ASP last month mainly for parts. Because Apple will not sell them parts anymore or even allow them to use third party parts or even work on legacy machines anymore and they couldn't fix them. So far 1/2 have been repaired by me.

There was a nice A1430 2578 64GB iPad in the lot that’s apparently not locked in the reported stolen way.

Says Hello and appears ready for set up does not require a passcode. But during set up it say it is tied to an Apple account but does not give the name. Says “this iPad is linked to an Apple ID and password that were used to set up this iPad (j……@g…..com). The there is a space for Apple ID and Password. I have not tried to enter anything in those blanks. Do you know if it is locked or just ready for a new user set up? There is no way for me to contact the original owner, what do you advise? I just don’t have much experience with these things except replacing digitizers.

UPDATE 7/16/16

I talked to my seller an ASP. I was told Apple refused service on it because it had been altered. It has a corporate acid etched logo on the back. Apple has just become unreasonable to work with. It's not locked, not stolen just rendered unusable. As much as I don't even like the idea of messing with the EFI chips, I feel very justified.

I really don't want this type of information posted on the iFixit site. So if one of you Pros actually knows the process I would appreciate a personal email. I even plan on donating the machine to a religious organization.
