iPad 2 GSM: Any way to repair scratches in the screen?

I have a single scratch on my screen about 1.5" long. I'm not looking for a polish to "remove" the scratch as that's simply not possible. However I've seen product in the past that was nothing more than a liquid that you would put on scratches (for example, eye glasses) that would fill the scratch and make it so it's doesn't refract light anymore thus...bye bye scratch, for the most part.

It's been a long time since I've used any such product or have worn eye glasses for that matter. However, has anyone used those product on something like the iPad?

iPad 2 GSM: iPad 2 GSM 64GB A1396 Boot hangs at Apple logo

Device history: Screen replaced once before, was working fine after. Screen cracked again area of front camera, then possible water spill some of which may have ended up entering through that area. (iPad 2 GSM, A1396, 64GB)

Q: Trying to determine if its worth fixing. I've removed the cracked touch/digitizer, the LCD works, the wifi antenna has some damage from the prior screen repair but was working OK despite that, battery may be on its last legs, no other internal damage visible, but cannot boot past the Apple logo and verify damage...

Symptoms: When connected to a charger, initially the empty battery icon appears, then after 15-30 minutes the Apple logo appears and seems to stay on. I saw it loop once after several hours (black screen then new Apple logo..) but not sure if that was the only time since I was not watching it over several hours... I can initiate a DFU mode by holding home and power button simultaneously but it never gets past the Apple logo and is not recognized when plugged into iTunes.

Since then there is no backlight (the screen seems to work fine because when I use a torch I can see everything on the screen) and also the digitizer cracked.

iPad 2 GSM: Issues with Wifi being poor after digitizer replacement

Hello, I recently took my broken glass off of my ipad 2 and let me tell ya, it wasn't as easy as i thought! But my question is, there is an antennae on the bottom right of the iPad and I damaged that... I looked online and it looks like that is for bluetooth. Is that true? I also was wondering which antenna connector it goes into, since there are 2. Is it the gold or silver one? I also disconnected the antennas on the top of the logic board (3g and wifi) and forgot what connector they go into, gold or silver. Thanks for all of your help!!

iPad 2 GSM: Power Button won't work

Got a broken screen iPad 2, ordered the parts and did the repair myself. I have done multiple iPad 2 screens, so I am pretty familiar with it. This time, however, I seemed to have clipped the Power Button/Volume Button flex cable when getting the broken screen off. Went ahead and bought a new cable. Just installed it so that I could get the iPad back together and came across a really weird issue. Actually I ordered 2 power button flex cables. When I put it on and clipped it in the volume buttons work and the mute switch works, but the power button does not. I unplugged it from the board and plugged it back in. Nothing. Cannot get it to bring up power off info and cannot get it to lock/unlock. Tried the 2nd cable I purchased thinking maybe it was a bad cable...same exact thing. Any ideas?

Update

Apparently the flex cable was defective. Supplier sent new ones and they work great. Thanks!
