iPad 11: Is the digitizer the same as on the iPad 10th gen?

In this comment, a technician on YouTube says the digitizer is the same between the 10th & 11th gen. Can anyone here confirm that? Has anyone here done a digitizer replacement on an 11th gen? Can I just order the 10th gen digitizer for an 11th gen?

Hey everyone, I recently repaired my iPad mini 4 screen, and now, it wont boot, when plugged into a third party software, i can see that the device has kernel panicked with the error "panicString" : "panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffff02425db70): "filterElements: Can't find valid timing element for display\\n" @AppleDPDisplay.cpp:211, I honestly don't know what to do, any and all help is appreciated.

After the release of ios11 I backed up my iPad on my MacBook Pro and downloaded the update. The update process started, and then the iPad restarted and I got an error in iTunes. The iPad stayed at the Apple logo and wouldn't change. No big deal, I thought. I just backed up. Just restore and go from there.

I did a hard restart, and the iPad loaded to recovery mode with the plug into iTunes information. I plugged it in and iTunes prompted me to restore or update. I tried updating again, which returned with an error 9, and the iPad just restarted to recovery. I tried restoring from a Windows computer with the newest version of iTunes with the same error. Created a new user on my laptop and tried... same error.

Then came DFU mode. iTunes recognizes the iPad, restore starts. The iPad restarts and gives the Apple log and an empty progress bar. iTunes says verifying update, then the iPad restarts, and I get error 9 in iTunes.

At this point I've gone through everything I can find in forums for suggestions, and have even tried some of the apps that claim they can fix these issues. All with no success.

The iPad is cared for pristinely, and has been working flawlessly until this update. Is it bricked for good at this point? Hoping not... can't really afford to replace a perfectly good device.

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me to find the problem in my ipad air m2 11 wifi, my ipad has just been exposed to liquid, at that time I put my ipad air in a plastic bag, then I didn't realize that water had entered my plastic bag, and the water managed to enter the gaps in my ipad so that my screen background became full of water and restarting started

after that incident I tried to replace the screen and clean the water or corrosion inside my ipad, I looked at the logic board there was no corrosion (but don't know about the condition of the other parts), after I replaced the screen, the case remained the same, namely restarting every 2-3 minutes, and my ipad before turning off to restart, my ipad screen seemed to freeze in place for a few seconds then displayed a pink screen then turned off, does anyone know this problem? this is my full panic, thank you

For example, if the flexible sensor on my iPad Air 6 m2 11 inch WiFi is damaged or torn, can I use a spare part from the iPad Air 5 m1 WiFi to install it on my iPad Air 6 m2 11 WiFi? Is that suitable?

Unfortunately, my keyboard took a tumble and one of the keys broke loose. I’ve reattached the key but, one of the spokes broke off and the bottom doesn't clip on.

Will a hinge from another magic keyboards work for the ipad foilo keyboards? If not, do y’all know of any suppliers for the folio magic keyboards or a place to get something cheap to salvage off?

iPad Air 2: Rectangle surrounds "slide to unlock" & passcode won't work

I've held the home & power buttons down for the 10 seconds recommended, then when boots up there's a rectangular line surrounding the "slide to unlock". When it DOES allow the passcode page to appear (won't always do or takes a lot of time), there's also the same skinny rectangle going from screen edge to edge surrounding the passcode icons that always fill in as passcode is entered; those icons do not "fill in" when passcode is attempted & the # entered is slow to respond or won't respond at all. The circle surrounding the # entered becomes framed by a square, which has never happened in the past. The I-pad will not respond to my passcode & the last time I tried I got that stupid fast-talking-annoying-lady-voice who plagued my I-phone not long ago & caused me to lose all info & had to return phone. Stupidly I don't/didn't even KNOW how to back up my info or pictures & suspect I'm in for a big fat headache/heartache if I have to erase & re-start through I-tunes, if even THAT will work!! Any help gladly welcome.

I did a charger port repair and put everything back together and the charger worked for about an hour. Then it stopped charging. I tried to reseat the flex wire connection but in doing so it looks like a few pads ripped off. Can it be fixed

Hi all, I have an iPad 9th Gen (2021) where the rotation is not working. It does rotate but it is always 90 degrees out. So when you hold it in portrait the screen is rotated by 90 degrees as if in Landscape. I cannot find any info on where the accelerometer chip is, any help gratefully received.

I received this iPad as dead. It was a faulty NAND which I replaced with a new NAND after configuring the SYSCFG. It now works fine except for the rotation (please note this is after the restore and before activation (hello Screen), so no other apps loaded.

I wish ifixit would post a how to replace the charge port for the iPad 6th generation, because mine won't charge up anymore. I was able to bend the cable connector end a bit to get it to charge but now it won't do that anymore. The charge port has felt a bit loose inside for about a year now, so I know that is the issue.

iPad Pro 10.5": Visually glitching when touching the bezel near the home button?

Has anyone ever seen this before? Know how it can happen or if there's a solution other than replacing the screen?

Alternatively, if it's just... left this way, will it get worse over time?

The screen works perfectly fine. But if you touch the bezel just about 1" to the right of the home button it glitches like crazy. As soon as you stop touching the bezel it goes back to normal.

I have taken a quick video, but can't upload video here. Some screenshots attached.

It does not do this with any part of the screen nor any other part of the bezel. Only specifically when touching the bezel in this exact space.

To be clear, a small bit of pressure is required. Just physical contact on that spot doesn't do anything, but a small amount of pressure (around the same amount to click the home button) produces these weird results.

First photo is screen working fine. Next photos are just some examples of the crazy chaotic glitching that can happen.
