iOpener: Is my iOpener swollen

I received an iOpener, and it looks a bit more inflated than on pictures. Is it said on it that I shouldn't use it if it is swollen, but I'm not sure if this is swollen or not since I've never seen another one. Is this a normal look, or not?

iOpener: Is this a good alternative to an iOpener?

The kit I just ordered to change the battery to my XS Max doesn’t come with an iOpener. I can’t find it on Amazon by itself but there’s one on here by itself that I may buy. I was just wondering if I heated up a wet paper towel in the microwave, placed the warm paper towel in a zip lock bag and sealed it would that be a good alternative to an iOpener? (Or even just a warm regular towel inside a zip lock bag)

I'm considering buying an iopener for my repairs but I don't have a microwave and I don't want to buy one just for this.
