iHome IBT16: Alright, guys. I'm reaching pretty far on this one

I purchased this years ago, and it has started failing. Shutting off randomly, which is probably a battery issue. Anyways I decided to chain this out, so I have a Bluetooth surround system in the shop. I hooked everything up, and it half works. When I play a song, it plays two seconds and stops audio, but the track progress bar continues. However when typing in a text, the sound plays through the speakers. But not when I type here. Anybody got any ideas?

iHome iAVS16: Help me fix my IAVS16 speaker

The speaker plays a ‘skipping, or clicking sound whenever it’s activated. This happens whenever I try to play music, or ask Alexa a question, or even when it’s trying to alarm! I don’t use the Bluetooth at all, but tested it, with the same results. I’ve followed instructions via support phone…to email support. They say they will respond in 24 hours…..they NEVER respond!!

I’ve tried factory reset, unplugging, replugging, changing the outlet, bringing it closer to router, and signing out and back in from the app. Deleting app, and reloading it. Re-setting it up from the app. Can anyone help?

iHome Speaker: IHome Colors Store Display-Can they be converted to work on their own?

I was recently given an iHome store display with 4 Bluetooth speakers (iBT85, iBT76, iBT68, and iBT61) all of which were hardwired to the display. This display allows for a single power source and a stored “playlist” to test each speaker’s sound individually. It appears as though the wiring to each speaker is different and not just “unplugable”. How do I (or can I) disassemble the display to use the Bluetooth speakers on their own?

iHome Speaker: Lost volume on my Home iW3, how to fix it?

So, one day boom, sound faint. Have to put my ear up against the speaker to hear anything. iHome customer support is useless. They don’t even have a repair manual i can download. I took it apart and saw 2 capacitors that apparently leaked on the board. So I ordered two with the same 50w 5.6uF. They came in considerably smaller than the original but was assured by Mouser that they would work. Long story, short. These did not fix the problem. I have no metering equipment so cannot “TEST” other components but nothing else seems burnt or “fried”. I am at a loss. Don’t want to throw it away. It still looks good, charges, and connects to my iPhone. anybody have a clue? I can take a picture of the board if that would help.

iHome iBT30 speakers: Lost volume on my Home iBT30, how to fix it?

Took it apart and saw 2 capacitors leaked. Replaced them with the same 50w 5.6uF but smaller in size that Mouser said would work. Still no volume, sound very faint. don’t see any other visible signs of any part failing. controls on top work, connection to iPhone works, charging works. Don’t have anything other than a soldering gun at my disposal so I cannot test any other attached parts. Has anyone worked on these and had the same issue? I can solder and de-solder like a champ.
