Crock-Pot Express Crock Multi-Cooker: Rival 3745 bad heating element.

I have a rival 3745 crock pot that has a bad element. The elements are resistive wire that is attached to the aluminum base and secured by a spring to hold it secure. The braiding around the wire deteriorated exposing the heating element inside. If I can find some generic heating wire I can take it from there and figure out the proper length i.e. resistance, calculating the wattage, etc. Thanks for your response.

Aroma ARC-1030SB: Resembles wiring back in order

Aroma 2022 > model ARC 1030SB, I kept having bad horrible burnt smell so I decided to disassemble to figure out what was going on. I found that the hot plate had burnt waste under it and in the inner bowl like very bad. So I clean it and now well, try my best to put it back. But can’t seem to remember the way the wires r suppose to be. I tried to put the wires how I thought they should go, but when I go plug it in, and press; a cook button it turns off. So struck in this part. Help! Other rice pot old YouTube videos haven’t not help whatsoever. And can’t seem to figure out where (heat) wire should go. Cause there also ACN & ACL (the ACL is connect w the power plug. Like in which order am I supposed to put the wires that go screw in, on the hot plate. Cause the black one by its self that reads (Heat), blue wire that is by its self and reads ACN. Finally the red wire attached with the, plug in and it switches out to black wire w a white cushion on it reads ACL. So in which order should I put these?? Help?? And I been trying to upload pictures but system won’t let me.

Instant Pot Smart-60: How to fix lid; pin at valve

One of my lids is acting funny; not like my working lid. It won't seal and the pin in the back is not making its normal arch. I can't find a disassembly guide for any instant pot lit. Im talking about the iner-works of the lid, not how to replace the valves which is very easy and self-explanatory. Can anyone point me to a take-a-part guid for the IP lid?

Rival Crock Pot 3120: I got it apart, now how do you re-assemble? RESOLVED

My 50-year-old crock pot stopped working. I was able to disassemble it and clean the contacts inside the switches. Everything tests well on my multimeter. Trying to put it back together is another issue. It appears as if the threaded rod that holds it together was much longer at the factory. After assembly they apparently cut that rod. I can't figure out a way to stop it from falling down inside whenever I try to get a nut on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update (10/14/23)

On closer inspection I found that the threaded rod was installed long then cut short after the bottom panel was placed. I bought a 2 inch thumb screw at my local hardware store. I drilled through it to slip the clamp rod through it. Then I tightened the nut and cut the screw just above it.

Rival Crock Pot 3120: Removal of the pot

I have a Tower slow cooker which seems to be similar.

The pot is not designed to be remove for cleaning etc.

Newer devices the pot is.

So I would like to know if it is possible to do this with mine, because cleaning it is tiresome and messy with the pot in place. There seems to be some kind of a gasket between the pot and body which would have to be seperated to remove the pot at the risk of damaging this seal.

The cooker works pefectly well and is economic with electricity

I expect there is a safety issue with this type of cooker if the pot is removed.

Does anyone have any input about this topic please?
