beatsx: Stray threads / wires?

I dug up my old bricked pair of BeatsX buds and though I’d give a stab at replacing them. I’ve been following along to this video. I had some trouble getting the cover to slide off, so some pliers were involved. I successfully desoldered / removed the original battery, but there are some stray threads or possibly wires showing at the end of the connector.

did I break something? I’d like to know before I buy a new battery. Thanks!

beatsx: Beats X won't keep a charge, And now I won't charge

A couple of months ago I was on the road and I needed to charge my beats X, so I plugged them up to my portable charger and let them sit. I checked them 5 minutes later to see them flashing red and white. When I got home I plugged them up and tired to reset them many of times and they still didn't turn on nor charge. I even left them plugged up over night and still no charge,

And then 2 weeks ago I tried to charge them and they suddenly worked. They turned on and paired to my phone, once they died thought it started happening again. Red and white lights flashing, and no power is going to the battery, Did my portable charger break my beats X? Or is this a problem with beats

beatsx: My beats X disconnect in a min or less

My beats X never did this before but they connect to all my (or any other) devices and in a minute or less the headphones (or maybe devices?) auto disconnect them, and they begin the red & white blinking LED’s I have called Apple, Researched, Videos, Ect. and have went through all the reset options using the power & vol-, power & pause/play, and just holding power by itself is even a reset option. I tried to update the firmware through Beats website, and supposedly my Beats X firmware is up to date. Im down to attempt to fix this myself but I want to make sure my prognosis is correct before bring out the tools. I don’t even know if its a hardware or firmware problem. All/Any input is greatly appreciated.

beatsx: Beats X charging but not turning on?

My Beats X had simply run out of battery. I charged them and all was like normal; the light went from red to blue to show they are charged, however they are now not working.

They do not seem switch on. I have charged them with a genuine Apple charger, connected to laptop to check for updates (which showed they are up to date) and tried holding down the buttons to reset but they still do not work.

I have had no prior issues with the headphones, which are about 1 year old now. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.. I hate using the iPhone issue headphones! ☹️

beatsx: What are the parts

When cleaning my beats x earphones - I accidentally took out two very tiny black parts (I believe they are like sponges or materials to filter and refine the sound) inside the tip of the beats x earphones - It fell out and was so tiny that I couldn’t find it. Apple is charging about 100 dollars to fix the small tiny part for an earphone when the product itself it only cost 130 bucks - daylight robbery to say the least. Everything else is in mint condition as I maintain it really well. Is there online or stores that may carry these two tiny parts that I can purchase.
