Hello, for some reasons my acer chromebook keeps turning off and on, thought it was the battery, plugged in the charger it still did the same thing.

I went on youtube, saw a video with similar problem, his solutions were:

Tightening the screws.

Did that worked for some weeks then it started again.

Hi there,

My laptop refuses to turn on and all lights are off… did the hard reset, (refresh + power button for 30 s), bought a new charger..nothing is happening….

acer chromebook 14: Screen is totally frozen in the on position. Cannot turn off.

This is the third time this has happened. Computer totally freezes up while using it. Can get it to turn off to reboot. Do I have to drain battery to get it to go off?

My Chromebook was dropped and a few days later the touchpad stopped responding or responds intermittently. I have powered it off and on several times, and tried instructions I have found from the web. Is there a hardware solution to this problem?

Last week I spilled some water on the top of my laptop ( while it was folded). I don't think water went inside the laptop. But since that time the laptop start behaving wierd. First, I couldn't turn it on until the next morning, the charger indicator changed from orange to yellow. And it keeps switching OFF by it self.

And the system tray keep closing and I couldn't open any website or YouTube as it keep backward.

This all happened within just 24 hours of the water spillage accident
