Zte Avail 2: screen is completely black

The screen on my cellphone (ZTE model Z992) is completely black. It's charged up, I can see the green light flashing letting me know I have messages, and I can hear the tones when a text or call comes in but I can't see anything on the screen at all. I've tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, powering it off and back on, etc. I haven't done a "factory reset" yet because I don't want to lose everything that's on it. I've tried hooking it up to my computer to download pics but it's not recognized by my computer. Is it possible that the bulb for the light on the screen is broken? I can see a background light come on but nothing on the screen.

Hey! Fairly new to the ZTE community, chose this brand based on the stellar reviews and recommendations from my boyfriend and several relatives.

Got the phone, got a good plan, everything is working smoothly . . . Ish.

Problem: anytime I use an App on the phone that requires typing (Google Search, Texting, AO3) the phone takes an increasingly longer and longer time to pull up the keyboard for me to type on. And when it finally does appear, I have about 15 seconds to say my piece before it closes out again, and I have to start the reload process once more. I mean,I''m a slow texter, but it takes me upwards of 3-5 minutes to send a bloody message anymore.

Other than my special-snowflake issue, I love the phone, and I have every intention of keeping it. This is just irritating. Anything I can do to resolve the isse would be VERY much appreciated.

I don't know if it is a hardware or software issue (even though every other app and the interface is working fine) with the camera. But every time I try to open the app it says "Camera error : Can't connect to the camera." Then it force closes on me and says "Unfortunately Camera has stopped."

Whenever I turn up my volume my speakers sound muffled and are rattling as well as the sound not being as clear or loud as it should be. What could be the cause of this?

Zte Avail 2: Touch Screen is not responding

The touch screen is responding slowly whenever I tap on the buttons. Other times when I click on one of the options it will not recognize it on that button but open another application on the phone. How can I solve this problem?
