Zoom H6 Handy Recorder: How do I fix a broken micro USB port on my zoom h6?

So, my device fell off a table while connected to a usb cable. After that it stopped working. From the picture of the zoom H6 internal parts, it look like the micro USB port is soldered directly onto the motherboard. However, the company does not manufacture repair/replacement parts. This seems like a difficult fix to me personally, but it doesn’t look impossible. How would one fix this?

I put in a SD card to the reader but it could not put out it, so I put it by force!

Now the readers Iron strings are up and the reader can't read!

Bought new over two years ago as an unwanted present, my Zoom H6 is now 'dead'. I put it into storage with batteries removed. Now it shows no life, whether under battery or mains power. It tested fine when received - everything lit up and SD card worked. It was only used once to check that it had arrived intact..

Immediately after inserting batteries or plugging my Zoom H6 into a 5V micro-USB power source, the device displays a white screen then turns on (without me using the power-on button). I can use the device, but when using batteries they drained incredibly quickly. The machine doesn't always appear to fully power off, since after holding the power switch and it shutting down sometimes a lit black screen appears. The batteries seem to drain when this happens indicating the machine is still using the batteries. Any suggestions for a fix?

Zoom H6 Handy Recorder: Zoom R8 recorder is not turning on.

My zoom r8 recorder isn't turning on following a drop. It was only a fall of about 3 foot onto a thick soft carpet. I'm sure it's had worse drops before, but it seems this time it has caused a problem. I've looked inside and I can't see any disconnections. If anyone is able to suggest anything I would be extremely greatful.

P.S. The Zoom H6 was the closest thing I could find

Hi,

Input 1 on my Zoom H6 will not record dynamic or condenser mics. There is no audio registering on the meter for that input at all, while the other three inputs work just fine. I’ve tried increasing the gain, I’ve tried a condenser with phantom power on, and a dynamic mic with the phantom power off but to no avail. I’d like to purchase a repair kit, but I’m not even sure what is wrong with it. How can I determine what the issue is? Thanks for your help.

The external microphone jack on my Zoom H2 is no longer making good contact to the microphone plug. I hope that I can fix it by just bending the contacts a little. But first I need to get inside to access those contacts. Any hints?

I find it really annoying that to post my question I had to choose a DIFFERENT device because mine is not listed and there is no obvious way to add a new one.
