It's becoming both wasteful and irritating. My theory is that the printer is printing out a morse code message and that it's trying to tell us something. Any ideas?

When powered on, the printer will not stop feeding blank labels. The only way to get it to stop is to shut off the power. I have tried doing a calibration by holding down the feed button while turning the power on, the printer will go thru the calibration steps, and the continuous feeding of the labels continues. Pressing the feed button will also cause the printer to continuous feed labels. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
