ZTE ZMAX 2: ZTE ZMAX 2 keeps powering on and off?

So earlier, my phone had gotten a little damp from the rain (water getting in my pocket) on the screen. Nothing bad happened to it, it's just when I woke up, it kept turning on and off. It would go halfway through the startup screen, then the AT&T screen, and then it would stop and go back again. I took the battery out, didn't work. Taking the AT&T card out itself didn't work. Letting it charge for an whole day, it didn't work. I tried to hard reset it, but it left it an vibrating mess, then back to the screen again. I'm thinking a replacement battery would do the trick?

ZTE ZMax 2: My screen goes black after startup

So I just got my phone back from a friend that had it for about a year

I went to turn it on and everything worked fine right up until after startup

After the logo screens disappear, the screen goes black and I cant see anything. It's not the actual screen because when i hold the power button it shows me the options to power off and whatnot.

I've already tried the hard/factory reset method and it dodnt work.

What else can i do?

It's not a huge deal if theres no fix for this, this phone was just going to be my mp3 player for work but if I cant fix it then I'll just throw it away

ZTE ZMax 2: When battery is in the home button is lit. It does not blink , it just

This is not an answer , this is a question I have a ZTE Model Z958

When battery is in the home button is lit. It does not blink , it just stays lit.

the screen is black

I have left it on charge for 6 hours

when I press the volume buttons…both of them and the power button the home button does nothing. It vibrates 1 time and then every 5 seconds. goes on no matter how long I do this.

Ive tried every combination of everything everyone has said. Still nothing

only time home button goes off is if I unplug and take out battery….

HAVE AT IT INTERNET.. answer that one.

P. S. all water marks are white, phone has never been dropped or damaged in any way. just upgraded to a newer phone one day and turned this one off and put it away on shelf. been 5 months since touched.

ZTE ZMax 2: Phone is pressing buttons on it's own?

I just got a ZTE ZMAX 2, no damage has been done to it. I could be completely away from it and it will act up. The most common thing it does is turn the volume ALL the way down. It'll try doing this even when the volume is already down. If I click one thing sometimes it goes to a couple of other things too, I don't understand. Anyone have this problem?
