ZTE Z667T: Why is my touch screen not responding to touch?

Hi my Zte zingers touch screen is not responding to touch it recently been dropped into water and it was working fine but the next day it’s touch screen won’t work how can I get it to function properly again?

ZTE Z667T: Looking to get contacts off my ZTE with screen that won't navigate.

My ZTE Z795G (not Z667T, I couldn’t find Z795G on the list) touchscreen stopped working. I have a lot of contacts on there, can I still get them? Prior to switching service to a new phone, my ZTE would ring and vibrate and the screen would turn on and change - but it is unresponsive to me touching it. Thoughts? Thanks.

(Some of my contacts went to my new phone, but most of my recent contacts did not. I’m afraid that they are stored on the internal memory of the ZTE phone. Everything else I’ve seen online says that I could get the contacts if I could navigate the screen, but that is not an option.) Thanks.
