The entire screen still respond to touch but because of the staitc I can only see half of the content on the screen.

All of the other functions of the phone work properly.

I think the cause of the problem I due to the phone overheating while I was multi tasking, I admit I pushed the phone to it's limits.

I love my Axon 7, can someone please help me get it work back properly?

Battery have 65% real capacity after 2y of use

so i wanna buy new 3140mAh battery

Where i can buy new original 3140mAh ?

With 2019 production date if possible (???)

I know aliexpress have tons MAYBE ORIGINAL batteries but i dont trust them.

Is there any official Zte store where i can buy this battery ?

I dropped my ZTE Axon on the ground and after that, it didn’t work, how could I fix it or determine what component has the problem?

Since the fingerprint reader only works after the first password is put in, I am effectively locked out of the phone.

Nothing changed, no updates happened, I restarted my phone to try and fix another issue, and this started happening.

Edit: I am currently charging it seeing if it’s something to do with vibration settings. However, I cannot access the phone properly! I’ll keep you updated.

Goodday fellow tinkerers and maniacs!

Wondering how to fix a bug that occurs when booting my ZTE Axon 7 (A2017G).

Most of times it starts with 15 times rebooting when switched on, but eventually there sparks light in my fancy paperweight.

My tagged picture explains what my phone has regarding visual symptoms, and after using the phone for 2 min the screen works again.

But if I cease my gentle handeling of my sick friend it suddenly decides to shut down again.

Anyone knows what part I should replace internally?

Oh, and yes. After updating to Android 8.0 all my VR apps like DayDream just went: NO. NO SPUPPORTO CHINISO PHONO!

Downloading a rollback flash off the ZTE site atm with 500 kb/ps…

My phone is stuck with this message “Unfortunately phone has stopped. “ When I push OK then for a second it says “Unfortunately fingerprint service has stopped”, before it reverts back to the phone has stopped message. I can’t do anything on my phone. So no going into settings or anything. Only thing I can do is a hard shutdown. When I turn it on it has the same error.

I can still hear my phone receive messages and such.

I have gone in to the phone recovery by pushing volume up and power at the same time.

I’ve tried reboot system now, reboot to bootloader, wipe cache partition, mount/system, view recovery logs, power off and system check. These are all the options.

I’ve tried charging, and plugging into a computer. I would do a hard reset but there isn’t one that I can find on this phone.

HELP!

Why is half of my screen not viewable due to static screen?

There a feller said to hold down the right side of the screen which i did, which then miraculously fixed the static, only to bring forth the onslaught of my current condition:

My screen was no longer responsive.

I have tried many fixes such as clearing the partition cache or resetting my phone to factory settings, however this has proved futile so far.

Now I am stuck on the welcome screen for the factory restore as there is no way to use the touch screen
