Yamaha DXR 12: Experts help needed: Tweeter produces constant loud hiss

Tweeter produces constant loud hiss while rest of the speaker (12" driver + main amp) works just fine.
Sometimes the tweeter works for a few seconds when turning the speaker on and off. Noise sounds white with medium-high volume.

Settings on back of speaker do not matter (for tweeter)- neither volume nor hiss changes. Connecting cables also do not change anything.

The strange thing is: this is the second time the exact same problem is happening. The first speaker still had warranty and the whole electronics got replaced by Yamaha and still works. Speakers were never heavily used nor handled rough.

I am hoping for a faulty element (capacitor?) to be replaced in the tweeter amp or DSP circuit - how and where should I start checking? (multimeter with capacitor feature available, soldering also no problem)

Many photos of disassembled speaker, circuit board and circuit layout in the DXR12 description

Thanks a million times in advance!!
