Xplora X6 Play: Button not working, but watch works fine

The problem is with the button

Turning off : cannot turn it off using the button, but can use the screen and choose the menu option

Cannot "wake it up" after it goes to sleep, but can put it on the charger to wake it up ... would mean that Miguel has to carry a battery and charger with him

Cannot turn it on ... solution is the same as waking it up

Everything else works perfectly

Does anyone have experience of taking this watch apart and/or repairing.

Contacted Xplora but they said go back to where I bought it, which doesn't help because it is out of warranty.
