I own a xiaomi red mi note 8.

I was listening to music normal and it started lowering the volume by itself. I tried to get the volume higher a few times (pressing the up volume button or using the screen) but it kept going all the way down.

So i turned it off and cleaned it a little bit just in case something was bothering the button from the outside, or if the system was stuck. Then when I opened it and it still thought that the down button was pressed so it sent me to fast boot. Somehow I managed to boot it properly and now it seems to be okay, but i think it will happen again.

Is it a hardware or a software error? if there’s nothing I can do about it I might need to buy a new one.

Early Symptoms: The phone started randomly freezing and rebooting by itself.2. Network Issues Begin: It then started dropping calls. During a call, the network would die, and the Wi-Fi would also stop working.3. The "Physical Percussion" Fix (The Smoking Gun): The problem became worse, with no network or Wi-Fi at all. However, if I physically hit or tap the phone, it would start working perfectly for several hours (sometimes up to a day).4. Current State: Now, the issue is constant but erratic.• Sometimes, I get a "false signal" (signal bars are shown, but I can't make calls or use mobile data).• During this time, the Wi-Fi works fine, but if I check "About Phone", the Baseband version and IMEI are "Unknown".• A simple reboot temporarily fixes everything, but the problem returns shortly after.My Conclusion:

The history, especially the fact that hitting the phone fixed it temporarily, points 100% to a hardware issue – most likely a fractured solder joint under a critical IC. I've added a sim card to my phone(Redmi note 8) but it doesn't show any signal it only shows that the sim card is inserted. I've tried to call someone and it shows me to "Turn off airplane mode to make an call" although my airplane mode isn't on.

in my country we use airtel and TNM, when i insert both sims in my redmi it doesnt show network it just say emergency calls,when i insert tnm only it reads but only on sim 2 and i cant make calls it just uses internet but no calls and sms when i insert on sim 1 nothing happens it just say emergency calls.......when i insert tnm on sim 2 and airtel on sim 1 they both dont read but when i vice versa they be oky but after some time they stop reading....whats the problem guys

Hello,

Recieved an Xiaomi Readmi Note 8 Pro water damaged phone. Removed all the shields and cleaned the board with ultrasonic cleaner.

1) Found out that VSYS line was shorted out (Found the badboy on the motherboard and removed) now VSYS is showings correct voltages.

After i put the phone to charger it is showing fluctuating "Amps" 0,15 till 0,48 and still cant be booted.

Voltages from some measured capacitors are going up and down continuously.
