Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Why the mi note 4 isn't Powering back on?

a night ago, the phone was completely fine, and battery was less so i decided not to overcharge phone the whole night, but the next day when i put the phone on charge, it didn't powered back on. and it was stuck on the "mi" logo and probably nothing helps as it was probably stuck there for around 3 hours and then i started to lose it and i used this method where someone pointed out that i should use some more/less output power adapter to charge or use my laptop to charge the phone, their phone jumpstarted and mine didn't, this was to try and get the phone to power back on, but no help again. someone also suggested me to use fastboot during the charging and during the usb connection to laptop. but laptop isn't able to detect my phone, so thus, the phone didn't charged and i am back at squre one. I even tried safe mode to try and get phone on, but it keeps getting back to the black screen and so there is progress again.

Please I do not want to lose my data, i want the phone to be as it was. please guys, this is a request and urge by me to help me solve this problem, i would really appreciate it.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Phone wont charge after water damage repairing (Turns on and works)

I have recently cleaned up a Xiaomi redmi note 4X. It turns on and works with whatever charge is left in the battery.

I think the shown battery level is incorrect. Stays green at 40% (with green led notification)

It is not charging further. When switched off the led stays green as if it was charged, never over 40%.

Ampere shows is consuming battery and not charging. It showed usb cable connected, but did not recognise it again after unpluging and pluging again.

I fully discharged a replacement battery doing tests, it wont charge. Now I am working with the original battery which is at 40%.

Any ideas?

neither my phone now connects to otg now.

and another thing to note is that my phone which is rated to be charged at 2A charges at max 350mA(ampere app) it starts from 850 mA and gets reduced to 300mA or less all these when connected to a perfectly fine 2A charger and have tried different chargers as well as usb cables no success.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Why is my Redmi Note 4X has charging icon but is not charging at all?

Hi, so recently I opened up my Redmi Note 4X to clean off some thermal paste on the CPU part of the board. Now there is a lid there but there’'s a small gap there where thermal paste seeped into the underlying components. I used a standard screwdriver to clean the thermal paste off, but then a small part of the board got chipped off (it’'s like a resistor/transistor of some sort).

The phone boots up normally and everything’s fine, until I plugged it in. After having the phone plugged in for a few hours, I have seen the battery percentage decrease from a 29%, to 22% while plugged in. I checked on the charger, which usually heats up, and it was barely warm. I don’t think if the phone charges at all because the phone itself shows charging icons, and even the charging LED light is up but the battery percentage is decreasing.

What could’ve probably gone wrong to my phone? I suspect that chipped off tiny part in the board was the culprit to the charging problem since it didn’t have any problems before I cleaned up the board.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: No 4G Connectivity, Network also not so stable

Hi, I just replaced my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X’s screen and LCD after it got damaged from a drop while I was working from our second floor. Everything is working well except for the network capabilities of my phone, which is having problems connecting to our cell service providers (only maxes out at H+ at best)

Now it always display “no service“…but the sim card is being recognized. When I connect o a WiFi network, the status bar displays a network signal, but when I disconnect from that WiFi, the network signal is also back to “no service“.

I opened it up and I observed that there is one of the 3 pins that connects to the metal back (i think it is a signal receptor for 4G signal) that's missing. I even tried to remove the antenna cable and then reinstall it, as well as run the phone with the speaker assembly and top receiver removed but still has the same problem.

Note: We have full 4G and 4G+ coverage on our area since our cell towers are just on opposite sides of our street block. My other phone connects to 4G just fine.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Phone switches off unless cover is removed: Redmi Note 4x, new battery

I just replaced the battery of my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X (mtk version) with a new one (both the old and the new one have the code BN41, not BN43).

Without the back cover, it works perfectly. However, when I re-mount the cover, it’s impossible to switch the phone on. I tried plugging it to a charger or to a PC, but it’s useless: it looks like it’s bricked.

If I remove the back cover I can switch it on again, and it works seamlessly. I tried doing energy-intensive operations, and the battery lasts long, so I am inclined to think that it is not damaged.

However, if I put the cover back on while the phone is turned on, it switches off after a (somewhat unpredictable) while, and there’s no way to switch it on without removing the cover again.

The flexible buttons seem to work well. I checked the battery connector (and the other main connectors) multiple times, so I feel pretty confident those are ok.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Can see through replaced LCD - frame and flex cable visible

When replacing the LCD+Digitized (without frame - I had to reinstall it on a new frame since the old one was broken) I was able to see the flex cable and the frame behind the LCD after installing the new LCD.

Here is the phone’s print-screen:

and here is the picture of the phone:

So it’s possible that the LCD is not the issue since the print-screen doesn’t show the flex cable and the frame so i’m puzzled how that burned into the image.

Does someone know what the problem is (why the frame behind the LCD is visible) and how I can fix it?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: Can't charge my phone.

Hello and sorry for my English! My phone is Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (MTK). Few days ago I plugged my phone into the car USB charger through a cigarette lighter and nothing happend - phone wasn't charging , so I unplugged it and 2 hours later i wanted to plug it in my home to wallcharger and nothing happend again. I tried with 3 others chargers and USB cables, but it still wasn't charging (Other phones are normally charging with all of this chargers) Then i tried connect it to PC but still noting happend. Phone was slowly dying with battery, but it works - i mean screen, speaker, camera etc. I put that phone into the wallcharger to night and it charged to 12% but was very hot. Then it died again (after slowly discharge) . Then I swapped USB port (this litte plate) to the new one, but that didnt help. Can someone help me with that issue?

Update (03/24/2018)

I swapped this, because i have Redmi Note 4 on MediaTek. But still can't charge my phone.

Is there any chance that flex which connect main board with this usb port board is broken? I mean exactly - CM855_MAIN_FPC_V2.0?
