Hi,

I have a camera module from a Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, but the phone’s mainboard is damaged and no longer works. I want to use this camera module as a webcam for my laptop with the lowest possible cost.

Are there any ways to connect this module directly to a computer?

Are there any adapter boards or MIPI-to-USB shields compatible with this type of sensor?

Would using something like a Raspberry Pi Compute Module + Carrier Board be a practical and cost-effective solution?

I’d appreciate any advice or practical experiences.

The phone suddenly overheated and shut down by itself. It started flashing the MI interface, then turning off and on again, and so on. I tried restarting it, but it didn't work. I tried safe mode, but that didn't work either. I didn't format it initially for fear of losing my data. Now, when the battery died, it refused to turn on again. When I connect it to my laptop, it makes a sound. I don't know what's wrong with it. Please help me. I took it to a processor repair shop, but they couldn't fix it.

I bought my Redmi note 11 pro plus 5G on May 2022 and I'm still using it. For the past weeks I'm facing a charging problem that it won't quick charge or turbo charge unless I've to tightly insert the cable and fix it in a position. When I inquired in a mobile repair shop they said that this model has this failure and we had a lot of enquiries and nothing can be done. Coz that statement was given my professional MI technicians he said. From a year backwards, I faced the same issue, but my friend said that there will be some dust blockage in the charging hole which is true. After cleaning that, there's no issue. But now it's something hardware issue. Need any possible solutions or pray for me to get hired soon so they I can buy a new one.
