Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: The front camera in my Mi Mix 2S isn't working.

Hello

I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and everything but the front camera is working. When I switch to the front camera it just swaps between the two rear camera’s.

From what I’ve already read online, it seems the front camera module is toasted. Is this hard to fix? I have never disassembled a phone but it doesn’t look that complicated based on the taerdown videos.

The camera module itself is pretty much the exact same as in the Mi Mix 2. Some guy used a 2’s module on a 2S.

Thank you in advance!

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: Broken battery port. Help!

Hey. Is there an easy fix for this broken battery port on a MIX 2S? I opened up the phone myself, voiding the warranty because Xiaomi support were taking weeks at a time to reply to simple messages. I was too impatient to wait months to get a few messages from them and have the phone sent from Australia to China for repairs and then back to Australia. They are subsequently not honoring the warranty and have also refused to offer any advice for fixing the device myself. I am hoping there is a way to attach a new charging port to the chipset. Or do I need a new chipset?

Please help!

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: How can I check whether my charging port is broken? (Xiaomi Mi Mix 2)

Hello there!

I have a problem with my current Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. I does not charge. I suspect that the charging port is the cause of the problem since I have had problems with it before.

My question is how can I check whether the charging port is really broken or if the problem is somewhere else.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: Device dead after LCD assembly replacement - no vital signs

Hello everybody, here is my issue, maybe somebody has already been in my shoes.

I replaced a LCD assembly on a cracked glass Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, fully working otherwise, and something has gone wrong since the device can not power on anymore. No LED, no vibration, no detection when connected to a computer, no response whatsoever.

During the removal of the battery I accidentally broke the underneath adhesive tape so I had to pry the battery out; in this process I damaged the battery shield, which failed internally making some smoke but not taking fire, luckily. The battery connector, however, had already been detached from the motherboard,

I ordered a new battery and reassemblied the phone, but the device could not power on. I initially thought that the new battery may had been too low level and left it on charge for two days, but it seems not to change anything.

Any thoughts on what to do..? Should I try a second, new battery? Is there any check I can do? The internal connectors seems all to be in place, and the other parts shows no visible damages.

Thank you for any suggestion, I appreciate.
