Xiaomi Mi Max 2: The touchscreen's left edge part is not responding

The touchscreen's left edge part is not responding after I use a bad charger. When I touch the left edge part it will shows on the nearest touchable location is being touching.

Do I have to replace a touchscreen or it's just somewhere corrupt and I can fix it myself?

I will upload a video to show the problem soon.

Hi all, So the phone does not turn on or show any sign of life while unplugged, not even the notification led lights up.

- When i plug it in, the "mi" logo appears for a second and then it turns off.

- When i try booting it into recovery mode (while plugged in), the "mi" logo appears, phone vibrates and then it turns off.

- When i try entering fastboot while plugged into the outlet, fastboot appears for a second, screen goes black but the notification led keeps blinking.

- When i try entering fastboot while connected to the PC, fastboot screen appears for at least 30 seconds, USB malfunctions and the device is not recognized (Trying MiFlash tool latest version.)

- I also tried using several other chargers and a power bank, It usually draws power for a minute or so as though it's charging and then it stops.

The cause of this issue is most likely water damage (The phone is in a pristine condition, never been dropped or mechanically damaged).

So what could be wrong with the phone and what could i do to fix it?

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a completely black screen and fails to turn on. It shows no signs of life, the notification LED does not light up, and it does not vibrate. Multiple different chargers and cables have been tested with no response. What steps should be taken next to diagnose or fix this issue?
