My Xbox one S controller doesn't power on even if I use jumpers won't turn on..then another issue with batteries, they don't turn on now am stuck 😔 becoz I opened it I washed it thoroughly but the problem might be on the board mainly so I would like to take me through where to start from

Xbox One Wireless Controller 1697: Xbox One Controller is Flashing Slowly and Won't Work.

So, last night, I turned off my console for the night and went to bed. This morning, I tried to turn the controller (and the console) back on to play. The console worked fine, and started right up. However, my controller started to blink slowly, and none of the buttons work. I've tried syncing it, changing the batteries, and unplugging the console, but it's still blinking. It only stops after I take a battery out, or leave it alone for a while. But if I press it's power button, it just blinks away (slowly, if that matters). Help?

Xbox One Wireless Controller 1697: How to remove the trigger pins holding the bracket?

Hi, first time posting.

My Xbox one trigger has broken. I've found the root cause of my problem. The Trigger bracket (not the piece you unscrew), has snapped on one side. I need to remove the metal pin/rod that holds it and the spring in place.

However, I don't know how this pin is in place or how to pull it out. There's literally nothing on the internet about these pieces.

Help is appreciated

Xbox One Wireless Controller 1697: How can I calibrate the thumbsticks?

I replaced the thumbsticks on my 1697 model with new hall effect based thumbsticks. Is it possible to calibrate the thumb sticks? The controller firmware seems to have internal stored calibration values of old ALPS potentiometer thumbsticks. Unfortunately the new ones are slightly off center and have different full-scale deflection ratio. At about 50% stick deflection the controller reports 100% value. I accuse the stored calibration, because I measured the full-scale deflection linearity of hall effect sensor in circuit. Output voltage range of hall effect sensor "wiper pin" is about 0.2V - 1.7V but interpreted range of ADC input seems to be somewhere from 0.5V - 1.4V.

I guess the controller still has its original firmware and I cannot upgrade firmware or use XBOX Accessories App (also the downgrade launch option doesn't help). Tried on multiple PCs with USB or wireless.

I also tried newer XBOX controllers, but I do not want to use them as they still do not use hall effect sensors and even worse, the firmware uses an integrated averaging filter for the thumbstick to "heal" drift issues, so that users won't notice the drift. However this filter leads to a square gating and not a circular gating stick movement.

Currently I can see only 2 options:

use an intermediate op-amp mod to adjust the "wiper" range to the old values
try to reverse engineer the firmware running on the MKL26Z256VMC4 chip and find and update stored calibration values

I will try the latter one as I'm more into software.

LT activates on its own when i press any other button, alreay removed the sensor and resistor just to see if it would stop, it activates even without the sensor

Me and my brother had got in an argument and we had wire headphones connected to the controller and he pulled on it and it had snapped the metal or whatever material from the headphones and got it stuck in the controller. I tried to get it out and accidentally pushed it in farther is there a way to get it out?

I got an Xbox controller for free and I went to try to use it and it was not responding to any inputs after I turn it on, won't go into paring and won't shut off, I decided to hook it up to my computer and the computer does not show anything is plugged in even though the controller is receiving power. I took it apart and I see no signs of obvious damage. Any suggestions?

I took apart my controller to replace the bumper buttons and I put everything back together. Now when I try to use my controller to power it on, the guide button will not work.
