Does anyone know if when I go to solder on a new HDMI port if I have to clean off all the old solder or can I just put the new one in place while the solder is still melted? (Aside from the data pins, unless I can do that without bridging any pins).

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: My Xbox One S doesn't send a signal to the television

My Xbox One S (All Digital) does not send a signal to the television, I was downloading a mandatory update and when I finished I started to download a game that I bought online, everything was fine, the update did not present any problem but then the download of the game crashed so i rebooted the Xbox but it no longer works.

My console sometimes turns on and then not, if I want to turn it off I have to press the power button for a long time. My TV's HDMI says “This source is not connected. Please check the connection again ”. I have all the cables connected and have changed them to test if they all work. But that already worked before. Another thing that I need to record is the wireless controller, which blinks and stays like this as if waiting for something.

Link to the video of the problem my console (Youtube): https://youtu.be/lXsKyQZ939o

I hope you can help me, some have told me that she tries to format it but obviously I don't want to do that. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: Replaced hard drive and cannot restore. Was in the Insider program.

I have an Xbox One S digital that suffered an HDD failure so I replaced it with another and downloaded the OSU from Microsoft's website ad followed all instructions to set up the new drive but I cannot get the OSU to restore and am getting error "E101 00000504 8B50041" which from my research I have concluded that this is due to attempting to restore an older OS than what was installed before. I was in the Xbox delta insider preview and I cannot find any way to get Insider OSUs from anywhere. Is my only choice to wait until the beta becomes publically released and then restore or are there other options? I did "downgrade" from the stock 1TB HDD to a 500GB HDD I had but I haven't read that downgrading storage can cause any issues. If there is anything else I need to add let me know, please. Thank you in advanced.

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: What is the weird grinding Noise my Xbox is making?

So I bought a Xbox one S all digital edition a few months ago and it has been doing this of an on since I bought it, I’d say within a week. It makes a very high pitched grinding noise kind of like a cd or dvd is in there but sounds worse, sometimes it does this when it is on, sometimes this results in my console crashing. However the next time I try to turn it on it doesn’t work and it just makes that grinding noise. Other times it just randomly starts when I turn it on, when the grinding happens the Xbox light will blink on both my remote and console and eventually it will shut off. When it is behaving normally it will automatically turn on my TV but not when it is making the noise. This is very frustrating thanks for any help you can give me.

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: Graphics and performance maybe a graphics card. Issue

Somebody please tell me if theres something I can do to fix it. On every single game I have tested out the graphics look terrible. I hard reset it but logged back into my account I also soft reset it didn’t work but I changed instead of it being on auto detect I changed it to HDMI and the graphics looked a little bit better but still insanely laggy and I have an LG oled c1. When I switched it to hdmi it wouldn’t let me turn on VRR or auto low latency mode I found out without those 2 settings on my Xbox graphics look better and isn’t really that that laggy but without those 2 settings on my Xbox feels so delayed for some reason even tho my game isn’t delayed at all. Also without those 2 settings on my games look better but when I turned either one of the settings VRR or auto low latency mode the Xbox goes black for a few seconds then the UI and everything instantly becomes blurry.

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: Will my Xbox work without 2 screws.

Hi. I took apart my Xbox a while back but then I had to wait for some stuff and it never came. I then forgot about reassembling it until today. (none of the internal components were removed or damaged at all)

I realised however that I am missing 2 silver screws, C5 and B1 respectively. I was just wondering if my Xbox will still work with no performance issues without these screws. I don't exactly want to pay money and wait longer to replace 2 screws right now if it isn't too important.

Xbox One S All Digital Edition: Xbox One S switches on for a random amount of time then shuts down

My cousin spilt water on the side of their Xbox One S and it seemed to work fine for a month or so, but now when turned on it stays on for anywhere between 30 seconds and 10 minutes before suddenly shutting down. I thought it might be either a faulty PSU, or its just overheating. So I've tried replacing the PSU, fan and even cleaned and reapplied the thermal paste but nothing has changed.
