The doggo is not touching anything she just wants to be a part of everything.

Xbox One: Installing a blank internal hard drive

Hey guys! The internal hard drive of my Xbox One broke completely into the point that it is unreadable by the Xbox and my PC. It was a simple hard drive failure, with the hard drive ‘reading hand’ somehow lagging, which caused the magnetic structure of the hard drive to lose all data. This means I cannot transfer any data from the old drive to a theoretical new drive.

Can I simply buy a blank new hard drive, punch it in the Xbox One and turn it on? Or somehow use a flash drive to install a new OS on the hard drive? Is there any way I can make my Xbox One work again?

Xbox One: Xbox One disc drive spins up but does not detect disc

When i put in a disc, it spins up, but nothing appears
it also sometimes makes some strange beeping noises before spinning up..
oh, and it sometimes reads a DVD but normally says 'No disc in drive.'
my guess is that something isnt connected right but im not exactly sure...

Xbox One: Xbox Powers on and immediately powers off

Has anyone figured out exactly what is causing the problem with Xbox Ones that power on, and immediately power off. The power brick is lit orange which instantaneously turns white once the Xbox is turned on directly from the console, but immediately powers off.

This is a very common problem that Microsoft will not discuss.

I try to turn on my Xbox and the power brick is lighting up orange but the Xbox won't turn on period..It's not lighting up or anything but when you press the button to turn on you can still hear the sound it makes when your trying to turn it on..

Xbox One: Xbox One front panel works but no sound

As title says. I have replaced the front panel, speaker, and front panel board with other parts that I know work, but there is still no sound. The buttons work like normal.

Xbox One: Errors E106 and E101

I get error E106 whenever I boot and when I try to update or factory reset I get E101. I used the factory update trick by holding eject and bind even after two beeps with a USB drive plugged in to instantly start updating but every time I try to update or factory reset I get error E101. When it says checking update, i checked on the drive and saw that it does move the update files to the disk but it doesn't install them. I have repartitioned the hard drive with ludvig jerabeks Linux tool. I tried every USB option available. Any ideas on what these error codes actually mean? I know E101 has something to do with updating.

Oh and I can't send it to Microsoft because my warranty period has ended and I don't want to pay half the retail price just to let them repair a known issue.

hi, i have an Xbox one fat, when i insert a disk it makes a scraping sound and the xbox doesn't read it.

does it need to be replaced? where can i find one?

Xbox One: kinect turns on when xbox is on but then turns off why

i have issues with the xbox one sensor as it turns on when the console is on but then noticed the IR LEDs turn off then the xbox logo

i have a sneaky suspension as to why this is but need assistance with the sensor as to why it turns off when the console turns on

i have performed a full shutdown of the console and then started it back up but for some odd reason the same issue occurs and i need assistance as mention above

any suggestions

I have an xbox one with a ortz 3rd party power supply. It works well with Netflix and YouTube, but if I play a game such as gta5 or fortnite, the xbox has a tendency to just shut completely off instantly in the menus or even in the middle of a game. When it turns off, the power supply light turns red and stays red. Anybody got any ideas?

Xbox One: issues with the video format from laptop memory to external

i have decided to format a usb flash drive so am able to move the recent files from a wireless memory unit to a flash drive then format the flash drive to NTFS then copy the copied dvd's to the memory unit then try again with playing the copied dvds and find out if that resolves the playback issue and if it does not then i do not know what

why cant I view or play mp4 movies copied from dvds to an external hard drive on an xbox one s

when I open the containing folder it does not show the movie or series and yet Google shows that the Xbox one supports mkv and yet nothing is visible or able to be played why is that

when streaming a game on twitch the kinect is able to be detected by the app and the players in the lobby are unable to hear me and also there is a no mic connected when live streaming why is this and what can be done to solve this

I have an Xbox One that will not turn on when I press the power button. It will make the beep-bop noise when I hit the power button, but alas, no power gets to it. I have tried everything from power cycling to changing power bricks. I have had this happen before with another console and sent it in for repair. I want to quicken the process up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox One: My tv is a toshiba smart tv or rather alexa tv but is having issues

when i came to attempt to set up me alexa toshiba tv with the xbox one it failed to send the code and it went through each set of codes and not one of them sent the volume up code successfully

Xbox One: does it matter about the model number on the heat sync

do the heat sync have to match the original or current heat sync model number or can any replacement heat sync work with the current xbox one as i think it is the heat sync that is the issue not the cooling fan and if i get the wrong or incorrect heat sync model number it may not work correctly
