Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: Why do my controllers keep disconnecting?

I've done countless Google searches and scoured this thread, and I've seen some recent posts to this thread with a few replies so I'm hoping this gets noticed. So I have a few controllers, 2 of them work pretty well, and 2 of them don't work so well. I am absolutely positive this is not an issue caused by the battery contacts as every single thread on similar issues seem to suggest. Whenever there is a button press or stick movement my controller will disconnect and then cycle and reconnect after an unreasonable amount of time. I don't know the ages of the controllers because I just don't have that kind of memory, but the two that have consistent issues are the classic white and grey, and then the black, and the two that work are new(er) models I think. I have taken them apart, so the possibility that I might have done some small damage is possible, but I wouldn't know what to look for if I did because I took them apart a while ago.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: Xbox 360 Controller Constantly Vibrates

When receiving any kind of power - through wire or battery pack - this Xbox 360 controller "pulses" momentarily with a small vibration. Turning it on results in it constantly vibrating at a steady rate from the right side rumbler, changing in accordance to input from games (i.e. shooting a gun in a GTA game).

I resoldered the battery contacts, resoldered the right side rumbler socket, and tried checking for other shorts while comparing to a (seemingly) identical board - with no success. Are there any ways to remedy this?

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Not Syncing PC

Hi, i’ve been given a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller wich does not sincronize wtih my Microsoft wireless receiver that a boutgh along with a controller 10 years ago. I know that the receiver is working because i play with my “first” controller without a problem.

When I press the X the only thing that does is blinking the 4 lights. Obviously i tried to pair it with both buttons, the receiver and the controller, but nothing happens. It just blinks over and over.

I thought maybe it just will pair up with a game console, but I don't know much about that.

Does someone have an idea of what is going on?

Thank youin advance

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: Analog wrong voltage values

Hello, I’m having a problem with one axe of my joystick, it always points down, so after troubleshooting with my oscilloscope I found a strange thing, in a normal case when the analog stick is in the center, the “potentiometer” should output around 1.5V because it’s powered by 3V but in the broken axe I’m reading 4V, how is that possible!?

I’m pretty sure something is shorted with that pin, but I don’t know where exactly, also I found that the joystick button is using 4V too but I cannot see anything between them, I tried to clean up the PCB with a special product, a toothbrush and a 101.526PSI (7Bar) compressor with no luck.

My controller model is BB70 wired, I didn’t found it on ifixit list.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: Analog Sticks intermittently report they are full up & right

So a couple days ago I went to ply my 360 and I couldn’t navigate the menu with the controller in question. I connected the controller to my computer with the XBOX 360 wireless receiver for windows and opened the Joystick control panel to find the controller is reporting that both analog sticks are at the full up & right position. I tried to calibrate it but it didn’t do anything. A couple hours later when I tried again, the controller functioned properly, but now it is doing it again. I don’t think it is a faulty analog stick since it is affecting both analog sticks at the same time. Any thoughts on what the issue may be? I’ve ordered an iFixit kit, since my security bits wont fit down into the holes on the controller, but once I get it open what should I be looking for?

Thanks
