Xbox 360: Xbox 360 Xenon with no power

Hi! I bought this 360 as untested for a potential old dashboard (manufacture date is 2005/10, and has never been opened until I opened it today).

The problem is, the console has no power. Doesn't respond to power button, eject button, stays off. PSU led is always orange. Here are the things i found: 1.8V standby is okay, 3.3V is okay too, at the power plug from pin 1-3 there is 0V, from pin4-7 there's 0.2V, that grows to 0.3V if plugged in, SMC_RESET_N at J2B1 PIN 6 is always low, no matter what, its at 0V. I tried to power it with my lab psu so i could find whether there's a short (thats potentially feeding back to the power connectors) but nothing. Still no life. The 3.3V is there at the RF Board so that's not the problem, the RF board also work on another motherboard. Already tried to reflow the NAND, Southbridge, and ANA to no success yet. Any ideas what could cause this? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks for reading!

EDIT: Forgot to mention, that i measured connectivity between J2B1 Pin 6, and all the points that are mentioned being connected to SMC_RESET_N, and all seems fine.

The console is LTU (i think). Is jasper. pure. without RGH or JTAG.
Well. after the flash, we tried to turn it on. but nothing happened. the controller wont receive power. the brick stays orange.
i know the led on the brick changes according to consumption. without anything connected, the led is slightly weaker. with the XBOX connected, it gets a bit brighter. this is normal response. with the xbox broken or not. but, she stays orange. without trying to get on.

i could try to force her on. but i doubt that this would be a good idea. and probably some magic smoke you come off him.

Either i think maybe a small ball of Solder joint got off and its shorting somewhere else.
We shaken it a bit to see if anything would come out. bur nothing really came out.

Xbox 360: Secondary Error code 0031, power rail issue.

Hello iFixit!

I recently picked up a broken xbox 360 for $5. I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually working when I got it! It would overheat the eDRAM, in about 10 minutes. Replaced the paste, and it didn't help. I checked the V_GPUCORE Power rail, and it's fine. But after about 3 weeks of sitting, it now will turn on and flash 3 red lights. Using sync and eject, it has error 0031. Reading online, the common issue is a bad power regulator. They have information on xenon library, but it's very vague on where to check this stuff. So, does anyone know, where i can check if V_5P0 or V_MEM are shorted? And, is there a refrence image i could use to try and find a bad regulator (if thats the issue), and one that has a map of the power rails? Thanks for any help :)

Xbox 360: Alternative for a component

I couldn't figure out what it is because it isn't labeled. I suspect it is a miniature relay. Does anyone know a suitable alternative for this component?

Xbox 360: Games I played for months now stops spinning refuses to work

We have a few games me and my husband have already finished and recently wanted to replay them. Since we got these games, the moment we put the disc in its starts spinning and we can play. Now all of a sudden they other load until the game start menu then stop spinning and freezes/ stops working, or just doesn't want to even start the game. We also have games that did that immediately after purchase but now All of a sudden they always play as soon as you put the disc in. Our discs are all clean, almost no scratches and we even tried taking the plastic outside of and clean the lens by hand. We would like to get it to work with out having to replace any parts if possible since it's expensive where we live and not really available locally. Me and my husband are really keen gamers and would love to get our games working again. Is there anything else we can try that might work?

Xbox 360: Console not powering on

I got an x360 phat for scrap parts, but I managed to fix it yesterday. I was trying to rgh3 this afternoon but never made it to boot to xell. I reflashed stock and nothing, only a blinking green led. While I was cleaning the flux out, I accidentally ripped PLL’s pad off and the rrod appeared. Ok, I managed to short PLL’s via to the resistor right down of it, but it still wouldn’t boot. I sat back for a while and when I came back, the console wouldn’t power on at all. I’m out of ideas. Do you guys see something in the pics that I don’t see? Thanks.

Xbox 360: Xbox 360 not recognizing user profile

I have a couple of Xbox 360s, one of them got the RRoD and I decided to swap the hard drive to the other Xbox, that Xbox recognizes some of the profiles but it doesn't recognize all of them (more specifically, the profile in which I have my saved games and DLCs). Both of them are running the same OS (2.0.17349.0) and their specs are the following

Xbox 360: Is it normal for XBox360 one cooking fan to work with the dual fans?

While working on the 360, I noticed only one fan of the dual fans was working. Curious if that’s normal or not? I test the fans with giving them power and both work, also tested power output and both being power, and also stopped the good fan from running to see if the second fan would turn on but it did not, unit shut down due to heat. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this issue? Thanks
