X230T: does anyone have a reliable source for Lenovo laptop batteries?

Hi all,

Have looked high and low for 67+ / 75+ batteries for Lenovo ThinkPad x230T and came up dry. Lenovo site is out of stock, and horror stories abound on places like Amazon about counterfeits. NewEgg only sells through marketplace, which ain’t any better than eBay used batteries.

I have seen one vendor sell original OEM -labeled batteries but one review says manufacture date of 2014. Not sure if that’s an issue.

Any advice or success story would be so helpful!

I just bought a used ThinkPad x230T and wanted advice on cleaning fan and adding thermal paste. What is my decision point on doing these things, given it is about a 6+ year old machine?

X230T: How to instal an Internal camera on X230T?

I bought a used Lenovo Thinkpad X230T (Tablet) Laptop, online.

I found out later, there is no Integrated Camera in it. So I plan to buy the part and install it myself. But I’m not sure how to do it.

On Youtube, I see an instructional video about how to install cam, but, instead, it was about X230. I see the bezel is a bit different than the X230T.

I also see another video about how to take apart and repair a X220T/X230T, but the video doesn’t mention how to remove the bezel and to install the internal Camera.

Would be glad if I can learn how to do it.
