Wire: iec c14 plug - Needs replacing

Hi all

I need to replace the “iec c14 plug“ of my peavey speakers:

I have bought a new iec c14 plug but since I have not replaced this before so I was wondering if you give me some advice.

How do I detach it. Will is pop open if I pull?
How so I install the new one. Solder and tape?

If there are any instructional videos that would be great.

Wire: 3-way switch replacement help

I am trying to replace a double pole switch that is a few years old.

One pole is just for the porch light and one pole is for the hallway lights that has a switch on first and second floor as well as the this one that is by the door.

However, the new 3-way switch that I bought looks a bit different and am now confused as to which wire goes where.

Any help or info would be appreciated!

I got 2 15 hifonics Brutus 600rm 1200 Max and a boss 1600.2 2channel amp to push them what would be the best way to wire them to get the best bass?
