Windows 10: Silencing the Win11 upgrade message?

I upgraded my SSD from 512GB>1TB and my machine is now pushing Win11 on me when it did not do this before. I guess the restart and subsequent hardware detection change after cloning the SSD triggered it. Nonetheless I shut it down for now and told it to shush in Windows Update but is there a way to silence the startup prompt and then I can decide when I am ready? I know we could do this with 7/8.x>10 with Never10 (and yes, I DID check if Steve Gibson did it again; nope >_<) but I see nothing with 10>11 on upgradeable computers.

Windows 11: Why wont this McAfee pop up ad get off my screen?

Ever since last night when i had got minecraft, a McAfee popup ad has been on my laptop screen and i am unable to get it off. When i clicked on it on accident, it took me to a white screen where i had to choose between 2 options of extending my protection. This is extremely strange because as far as i am aware, i do not have McAfee installed and i have checked everywhere and it is still not installed. I dont know how to fix it and i cannot use my laptop as the pop up is in the way.

Windows 11: Will this "unsupported" PC run Win11 smoothly?

I have to manage a fleet of PCs for others. One of them will not officially run W11 as it has a Ryzen 5 2400G APU, when the minimum CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600. I'm hesitant to upgrade it to 11 with the unsupported CPU, but everything else "passes" the compatibility test; even TPM 2.0 is there. I knew this would be an issue years ago, but the need for a replacement was deferred for years and my warning was ignored for years.

The rest of the unit is as follows: 1TB WD Black (pulled from the old PC, so this is the second run—54k hours), 250GB SATA SSD, 16GB RAM, Radeon RX—the PC literally makes it short of the CPU :-(. I may be able to put a used Ryzen 5 2600 in so I can tell Microsoft where to shove it, but I don't want to chance it being a dud, so that's something I would probably try if I got it, but not in production.

Given how close it is, if I have to do the unsupported upgrade, are the odds of an issue something that warrants grave concern high? Either way is a wipe and reload by nature due to how I bypass it. If it were something I was still running, I would have bypassed it given how close it is and assumed the risk, but there's a little more caution needed for others. I HAVE seen it go south on bad chips like the A10-4755M when I tested my procedure on grossly unsupported hardware. It was unusable, but the PC was borderline unusable on Win8 and Win10, so that was what I expected.

Windows 98: Old Windows 98 PC not reading CD-R

Hello all.

I just got an old windows 98 PC to play some older PC games on. I am trying to get some drivers installed on it as I just setup a fresh install of Windows 98 on it. I installed Quake and noticed that it had some really bad speedup issues. I decided to install some drivers on the PC since i figured it needed them. However, whenever i go to put in a new CD-R disc, Windows 98 won't recognize it. I tried creating a .txt file just to test it but it says I don't have permission to do so. I figured it might be a read only drive since a lot of them were back in the day. So I went to my modern PC and slapped the CD-R in there. As a test to see if it would just read the disc, I created the .txt file on the disc, ejected and stuck it back in the Windows 98 PC and it would just show up blank. I then tried inserting another untouched CD-R into the Windows 98 PC and it just sat there saying It's still trying to read the disc indefinitely.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I know the drive is good because I was able to install Quake. I've tried USB but it won't recognize any of my flash drives either. Probably because they are made for USB 2.0 and 3.0.

Any help is appreciated.

Also for those wondering this is a Dell Dimension 450 with a Pentium III.

Windows 10: Why can't I turn back on my threat service?

So today, my windows 10 computer, mostly Windows security, decided to stop the threat service. The service turned off, and if I turn it on, it says "Unknown Error has occurred". When I first open windows security, it says the IT department has limited access to parts of windows security, and it says to contact the it department to help with this error. This is my personal computer, no school or work accounts have been signed in to this computer. My Microsoft account is a personal account, so I don't know what would be causing this error.

Pictures are included below, so if anybody has a answer, I would be happy to know
