Welder: Looking for a little help

Im rebuilding the wire speed control on my small welder and am wondering if anyone knows where i can find a three terminal rotary rheostat 115 volt 250vac 40 amp . The company I bought the welder from is in Italy and no longer has any dealers in my area and when i contacted the company they said they wont sell parts to end users . The web site they sent is all in Italian . Got a friend to translate for me and even hes not sure how to get what I need . I've gone over the cuircit board and am pretty certain the problem is in the rheostat. @oldturkey03 Mike im kinda directing this in your direction but will take help from anyone Im just not finding anything

The welder is a Deca 150e Its a portable welder I use at job sites without 220 outlets as this runs off 110

I have my thumb on the rheostat it measures 1 1/4"by 3/4wide

size doesnt really mater as I can adapt to most any size .

Just to let you know what I've tried . I replaced the entire board with a model train controller that worked great on low settings but burned out on the high setting . I've also tried a dimmer switch with similar results

Welder: NBC 250 inverter mig welder no spark

Hi all , i have an NBC250 inverter mig welder which has no spark , the fan works ok , the wire feed seems ok when i press the torch trigger just no arc ,

i have checked all the mosfets and diodes on the large heatsink (labeled on photo) ,all these check out ok ..

The only place i don’t seem to get any voltage is on this one cable which goes from the bottom board with all the mosfet / diodes , circled in red , im not sure which board should feed which and when ..

Century Welder 125GL: Drive rollor not spinning

I can't figure out why my drive rollor won't spin when I pull the trigger. I pulled off the motor and tested it and the motor works as it should. The red wire going from the motor to the coil is getting power but I'm not getting power from the black wire the goes from the motor to the circuit board. Does anyone know what the problem is? Im thinking it might be the circuit board but I don't see any signed of it being bad from looking at it.

I'm trying to open a old safe I found in a building that my company was raring down and its older safe over 350 pounds I've got a plasma cutter 60 amp it says it cuts 1 inch steel as so manybinch a hour

My question is that and will a plasma cutter cut deeper and deeper but it will make the cut slower and very ugly?
