WRS315SDHW: Icemaker starts dispensing ice automatically when fridge doors closed

I have a GZ25FSRXYY2 refrigerator with a W10882923 icemaker. It is a side by side refrigerator, with the icemaker compartment within the refrigerator area, not in the freezer. When I close both fridge doors completely and make the interior light go off, my icemaker dispenser starts dispensing ice without pushing the external paddle for the dispenser. Any ideas, anyone?

WRS315SDHW: Water Not Dispensing WRS315SDHZ03

I did not see a forum for my particular model, but I would imagine troubleshooting/repair would similar on mine.

My water will not dispense, it starts, but very shortly after it stops and there is a loud thumping/clicking (not sure what word best describes the sound, but those are the closest I could come up with). I pulled the fridge out to check for issues with the water line, and tested while watching, and when that noise occurs, the water line shakes. I traced the line to the filter housing. I believe this to be an issue with the filter housing, at least that is what I hope it is, but wanted to ask here before I order a new one.

Troubleshooting:

I tried reseating the filter, and this temporarily fixes it, but ultimately it stops.

I replaced the water filter, thinking this started after replacing it. When this is done, it starts out strong, then it pushes the air out of the filter, and the water then begins to run slowly and eventually stops, doing what I stated above.

I removed the water filter to test and the water flowed without issue and with some power. Put the filter back in, and the issue comes back.

WRS315SDHW: interior led lights syndrome failure both freezer and refrigerator

I have called Whirlpool with a half-hour wait to be told that the overhead light in the refrigerator compartment, which lost some of the LED's but not all so I have a dim light, is controlled by the freezer light which is totally dark, which I wouldn't have know until opened the freezer compartment. So the person who answered the phone was right: the LED light are NOT replaceable and the issue is in one of the doors (wrong) or on a wire harness. So I discovered a plunger switch in the freezer compartment so it makes some sense now that switch is part of the both lights system. Whirlpool charges $149 to get to the door, and most likely another $149 to leave. I refuse to pay $300 to fix a light bulb. I am hoping someone can give me some guidance on this. The model is WRDS325FDAM04. ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED!!

WRS315SDHW: Ice trays fill up with water and then flips when frozen but ice will n

About a month ago this problem started. The ice cube tray gets stuck in flipped upside down position and doesn’t release the ice. Have removed the ice maker 4 times since this started and allow it to set at room temperature for about 24 hours before reinstalling it. Once reinstalled it will 3 or 4 batches and then it stops again. I don’t understand why it won’t release the ice. I also have cleaned the tray when it is removed with vinegar to make sure it wasn’t because of lime buildup.
