Vudu Set-Top Box: Vudu no longer works

After being in storage for quite awhile my Vudu quit working. It was stored in the original box with all parts and never thrown around. I took it out of the box and set it up properly and it would not work. When I called the company they said they no longer support the machine and that they were bought out by WalMart. Not a good answer. Anybody know how to take one apart and trouble shoot it?
