Hey everyone, my friend was given a Verizon Ellipsis 8 that wasn't working for him, so he gave it to me to try to fix. When I plug the tablet in, whether it be in a computer or in an outlet with the adapter, I get the Android icon that shows the battery fully charged with the lightning symbol, and then it restarts and shows an empty battery with a question mark in it. After that, it goes into a loop of showing the full battery and than the question mark. Is it possible that the battery on it has to be replaced? If anyone knows anything, please feel free to respond! Thanks!

Verizon Ellipsis 8: Glass or Digital Screen?

The actual glass is not cracked but it is electronically cracked. Is it part of the glass? Do I need to order the glass to replace the electronic screen? I dropped the unit and part of the screen is black and other parts of the screen look electronically shattered. Not sure what to order.

Only worked for a short period now won't turn on & doesn't do anything even when charging! Is this fixable & if so how much will part's cost! Tablets like brand new!

Verizon Ellipsis 8: Blue screen repair problem

I have recently repaired an ellipsis 8 tablet. The cracked screen was working before I changed to the new screen. I was careful with everything including and especially the ribbon cable. As far as I know I didn't damage anything. I have done several repairs on several different devices. When the new screen was installed it just shows blue. I reinstalled the old working but cracked screen and now it is doing the same thing. I don't know if I need to order a new ribbon cable or what.

I was playing Punch Boxing on my tablet and the screen all of the sudden started to fade out with colorful lines going horizontal till it completely faded out and went dead. I plug in the charger it does nothing. What could the problem be could it be hardware or software problems? I tried to reset it and factory reset but nothing happens.

system will randomly reboot it self. go back to the lock screen. i have factory restored it n still does it. only seems to do when connected to wifi network.

Verizon Ellipsis 8: Can't log into any Google Account on Tablet

I have a Verizon Ellipsis 8 Tablet that had been my mother’s before she passed away. I’m looking to use it as a Wi-Fi only tablet, but it will not let me set up any Google account on the tablet (I can log into gmail through the browser, but it will not allow me to sign into Google Play, or set up a Google account on the tablet). I have even tried creating a new Google account on the tablet, but still had no luck with it.

Is there a way to fix this issue, or is this tablet pretty much useless now?
