VersaMed iVent 201: VersaMed iVent 201 screen freeze and partially responsive control knob after power cycle

The VersaMed iVent 201 ventilator screen is frozen with ventilation active. The rotating control knob is only partially functional (only changes rate and accesses the menu option, but other parameters cannot be adjusted). Complete battery discharge and power cycling have been performed, but upon powering back on, the unit immediately resumes the previous ventilation mode with the same partial knob unresponsiveness. What could be causing this persistent interface lock, and how can it be resolved?

VersaMed iVent 201: O2 calibration with new sensor won´t update O2 sensor alarm message

Hello,

I´ve trying to perform several O2 calibrations with a new sensor Max-16HT, however upon correct completion and saving the calibration the O2 sensor alarm message is still displayed on the left corner of the status bar, showing “O2 Sensor.” After that I tried performing a series of VVT’s but the only failure in this test is O2 100% (Failed), everything else is showing the result OK.

Any clues or ideas on what may be happening will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Ventilator: PLV-100 Repair Technician Consultation Needed

My wife's used a PLV-100 since we were teenagers (that makes over 30 years now). We now have a few of them, and a bunch of spare parts, but nobody to service them and, unfortunately, we've not found any others she can breath on due to the uniqueness of the non-invasive ventilation setup she uses. (I don't want to go into that at the moment). Now, my goal is not to have to rely on anyone so I'm trying to find a professional to consult with to learn the ins-and-outs of the thing. I have the manual, and have taken the things apart, but no experience with actually servicing or repairing them.

Now, I've spent my years as a caregiver for her making things for her. She's 'everything' to me. I do electrical engineering and mechanical design, I even design and 3d print custom non-invasive ventilator nosepieces/headgear for her, designed our own feeding pump system with controls, etc. (Everything's approved by high up doctors and even local hospitals). BUT... a pro's a pro!

I'm willing to pay for the help and experience. Thanks.

(I'm not sure if we can be contacted through here, so please feel free to email me at jaggz.h {over yonder at} gmail.com

Thanks again; we're getting desperate as these things haven't been serviced in a long time, since Philips-Respironics terminated support of the line.
