Dyson V8 Absolute: bin/canister will not open no matter how hard we pull

I cannot open the bin/canister of my Dyson V8 Absolute to empty the contents. The trigger does not budge. We tried the little red latch on the bottom of the bin/canister but it’s blocked. We cannot detach the canister as the top red trigger is blocked. I bought it in June last year so still under guarnatee. Dyson told me to send it to them, which I am reluctant to do.

Any ideas how to open it without destroying it? It’s been a week of pulling the trigger so really fed up at this point.

Carpet Cleaner: Lavex Dual 2-Stage Cold Water Carpet Extractor - water not coming out

Hello! I am the Board president of a large condo building that boguht a Lavex Dual 2-Stage Cold Water Carpet Extractor (12 gallon, 100 PSI) about a year ago.

We just finally unpacked it (our old cleaner finally broke down) and set it up. Everything seemed to be in order, but the when I pull the handle to release water, a little bit of water dripped out and then nothing.

I'm worried we may be out of warranty since it's been over a year since purchase, though I'm trying to get in touch with manufacturer. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Or, is there any advice on where I could find someone locally that might be able to look at and diagnose this?

Thank you!

Roborock S7 Max Ultra: Roborock S7 Max Ultra won't auto-empty bin after cleaning

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out whether I'm dealing with a hardware fault or a software/firmware bug on my Roborock S7 Max Ultra.

Firmware: v02.26.80 (currently up to date, per the app)

The problem: After the robot finishes a cleaning cycle, it does not automatically empty its bin into the dock. This happens regardless of whether the auto-empty setting is on "Smart" or "Max."

What works fine:

If I manually trigger emptying from the app, it works perfectly every time. Even when the robot's onboard bin is completely packed full (mostly dog hair), the manual empty cycle pulls everything through into the dust bag in the dock with no issues.

What doesn't work:

The automatic emptying after a cleaning run simply never triggers on its own.

The bin indicator in the app never turns red/full, even when the bin is genuinely packed solid. The robot will happily keep cleaning with an already-full bin instead of stopping or flagging it.

Eventually I do get an "empty ASAP" notification, but given the above, I suspect that's just timer-based (e.g. "X days since last empty") rather than tied to an actual full-bin reading.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there a known sensor (e.g., bin-full sensor or dock contact sensor) that could cause this exact symptom, or is this more likely a bug that needs a factory reset or re-pairing to fix?

Any troubleshooting tips or shared experiences would be appreciated.

Translation Vietnamese → English

The clean water refill function is triggering an error and stopping the machine.

The machine runs for about three minutes before signaling to refill the clean water tank—even though it is already full—and then stops. If restarted, it resumes operation but again signals to refill the clean water after about three minutes; this cycle repeats continuously.

First the battery level stayed at 60%, it is charging (the app told me it is charging and the button is flashing). but the battery level didn't increase. After using the bot to clean the floor the level is 10%. Again it keeps loading but the battery level didn't increase.
So i replaced the battery with a new one. This one was charged 70% from factory but now i see the same thing happen, it is charging now for a few hours but the level still is 70%.
Does anyone know this issue?
