Uniden Guardian G955: Why is my monitor not charging properly?

Whenever I connect the charger to the monitor, I notice that my device's battery does not charge and it dies quickly after being connected to the charger for hours.

Uniden Guardian G955: Why is my system still not charging?

Replaced battery, checked charger as well as new purchased charger, and the new battery initially powers the unit but is still not charging. Contacted Uniden and was informed that they no longer repair these systems as of two months ago as they are no longer manufacturing the surveillance camera systems.
