the red blinking light on my phone indicating I have a message has been on for the past 2 years. Ever since I changed my phone line to an internet based line, the light won't stop blinking which wears down the battery quickly. Please explain how to turn this light off.

one of the handsets when a call comes in and i pick up the call, just keeps ringing on the other handsets. no matter how much i press 'talk' it just won't connect to this handset so i have to run to one of the other handsets to get the call.

also sometimes when looking at the phonebook and using the down arrow the screen will not move on to the next person.

my phone's "Global" setting doesn't list/show a "VMWI" setting and other things I've tried that have been recommended like holding down the "Find" for 10 seconds (or more till it stops beeping) only works for an hour or so.

and unplugging the phone first or not, doesn't help either. so what to do?

My phone will not work. I bought a new battery, and the screen lights up, the red light is on, but I cannot make or receive calls. The volume, answering will work, but won't turn off until I press the buttons.

Uniden Dect 6.0: Stuttering when handpiece is turned on

After a (now blocked) scam call where an unreachable Telstra voice msg was left, handsets had ongoing red flickering message light (this problem fixed, thank you so much, by cluey IFIXIT contributor) but fast stuttering when the handpieces are picked up remains.
