On my base phone, if I use the speaker phone, I can hear the dial tone and talk.

If I try to pick up the receiver and talk, I can’t hear the other person. I also can’t hear a dial tone at the start of a call.

The cordless handset works fine. It’s only the base that I have a problem with.

Uniden D1688: Uniden cordless phones all say no line .

The phones are not working and all say no line and have no dial tone . We thought that a phone was on and lost somewhere but after it died they should have worked again I think .

I would like to stop switching second call to message bank while we answer the first call

I would like to show the line busy sounds when second person calls in

I would like to keep line busy for the second caller.

This function answering the second call through message bank is uniden phone or from Telstra provider?

If change phone it would fix the problem?
