Is there not any repair shops for umbrellas.I opened a brand new umbrella that I had for awhile and all the little pins fell out .I cant get them back in.I would just like to take it somewhere and get it fixed help.

Umbrella: Automatic umbrella opens when pressed but does not close when pressed.

How do I assemble this? Can you provide me a diagram?
Is my umbrella still fixable? It opens normally but the tarp part does not close when the button is pressed. It still closes properly when pushed through the top.

Parts available in the picture: spring thing, plastic thing, metal rod.
Main issue: The folding part does not close when pressed.

I have a retractable umbrella. It open when you click a button. The button also partially collapses the umbrella, but then you need to manually compress it back into position. Hi, I have a manual spring clasp that locks at the top and bottom of a standard long umbrella.

The top spring doesn’t hold the umbrella open. This single spring doesn’t hold its place and slides back down into its holding crevice when the umbrella is opened.

What can I do to repair (not replace) the single spring mechanism and keep my umbrella open?

When you try to push it back into compact position, it springs back up.. also when you try to push up into open umbrella position, it springs back down.
