UN55HU6830F: tcon or panel issue?

I linked and uploaded a video as well to explain easier but bought this 50inch smart tv knowing it's broken for 20$

https://youtu.be/mnxe3OJQeCo?si=WWI26MD6...

Had to link this video on YT as this site has limits I wasn't expecting like length and size of the video.

When powered on you see an image, then the screen flashes white then stays black but the backlight is on.

The leds are all powered on when the power cable going from power board to main board is disconnected. They appear to all work fine.

I unplugged/plugged in all connectors and the only way I could get something different to happen is when I left one of the ribbon cables going from the panel to the TCON Board disconnected. I only have half the screen showing image but it stays on. I tried using the ribbon cable from the other side to see if the one cable is broken, not it.

So basically I'm down to the point when it's either the TCON or panel but I am leaning toward panel.

At this point if it's panel would it be worth keeping as parts for say a TV that only had a broken panel? New to fixing things but want to learn as much as I can and any help is very appreciated!

UN55HU6830F: How to fix vertical colored lines on left side of my 55" smart TV

I am getting vertical colored lines (red, blue, green) on the left side of the screen. The lines do break like a crack in the bottom left of the line. What could be the problem and what should i do to fix it. I opened the back of the TV to take a look and did not see any loose connectors.
