UE BOOM 2: Factory Reset won't work...

This is quoted from another post:

Factory rest [for UE Boom 2]

Note that doing this many times in a row may harm your speaker, so refrain from doing this more than once or twice.

What does this mean exactly? I have tried resetting my UE Boom 2 and now the Bluetooth Sync light won't stop flashing when I try to turn it on. And it won't display on any devices either. Is this speaker toast? Thanks.

UE BOOM 2: UE Boom 2 (white) exterior cleaning tips?

Hi, my friend gave me his old, white UE Boom 2 since he bought himself a nice new portable bluetooth speaker. He’s a smoker and also has very greasy/dirty hands because this thing currently is less white and more of an off-white cream color with black smudges and spots on it. Anyone have any good tips/tricks on how to clean it to “improve” the appearance. He said it’s waterproof but that could mean a lot of things. If I were to run it under a kitchen sink faucet and scrub it with soap and a sponge or toothbrush would that do irreparable harm? I saw a post about the UE Megaboom (blue/black) with an answer about using Windex on theirs and scrubbing and then wiping with a clean rag. I wanna take better care of this speaker than my friend since it still works fine, I just want to make it look just a little bit better if possible.

Completely made sure all of the ports with sealed shut and proceeded to use my speaker for the first time in the water. DID NOT COMPLETELY SUBMERGE IT, it was probably in about 1 in of water for 10 minutes when the speaker shut off.

It will not work anymore.

Was advertised to be waterproof for up to a half-hour in about 1 meter of water?

UE BOOM 2: Why does my speaker stop playing?

My UE2 is updated, charged, paired, and has great sound quality. My issue is that it just stops playing with the power on. I have had Apple trouble shoot my iPhone and iPad… nothing wrong. When I play music on my phone or pad, no problem. As soon as I attach it to the speaker, it plays for a few minutes, then stops. It’s frustrating because I have had this speaker for a few years and love it! Then this started maybe 6 months ago. Logitech has had me unpair and pair to both devices and reset several times! HELP!!!

UE BOOM 2: Why my speaker is not powered?

Hello guys,

First of all I'm not an english native speaker so sorry for the mistakes.

Couples year ago my UE BOOM 2 fell into sea water and it didn't work anymore, when I get home I just put it in rice and and it stayed in for a very long time. 2 days ago I tried to charge it (there is the blinking white light) and to turn it on and it worked for like 30 seconds I was able to put music and then it turned off saying that there was no more battery. Basically every time I plug it and I wait a bit I can turn it on during few seconds. I managed to unplug the battery (Li-ion 3.6V 3200mAh) and tested it with a voltmeter. It says that the battery voltage is 4V, then I concluded that the battery was fine and there was an issue with the powering of the speaker. My questions are : have you ever seen something like this ? Do you have any advices about the pieces I should test or replace ? Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Thank you

UE BOOM 2: My UE BOOM 2 will work only when charger connected

Hello everyone,

So my problem is that my UE BOOM2 has to be connected to a charger to work, once disconnected it doesn't power off completely :

The speaker and the lights turn off after 2 or 3 seconds, but i still can see it connected in my phone and the music playing without any sound going out from the speaker and the lights are off.

That's why i dont think it's the battery, cause if it is, it should completely power off shouldn't it?

Or does the battery manage to power the Bluetooth module and not the speaker and the leds? Which is weird.. Anyway thank you for your insights.

UE BOOM 2: Megaboom 100% Charged and not staying ON

Good Afternoon

My UE Megaboom will no longer stay turned on even though it is 100% charged. It has not been dropped or mistreated and would be about 12 months old.

Both power light and Bluetooth light flash then go off. It will stay on if connected to power.

In addition, even when connected to power and ON, it will now not connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone, no matter how close the phone is held to the unit.

I have reset the Megaboom but still no luck.

I have been able to connect via Bluetooth to the smaller UE Boom2 owned by someone else and everything works, so it seems the problem exists with my Megaboom.

Any ideas/suggestions? Feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Linda

UE BOOM 2: Crashed during update and won't connect

My UE Boom 2 crashed during the process of updating firmware via UEBOOM app in iPod touch.

Now it won't update and won't connect. When I try to update via USB on my Mac, the updater app says it is already updated to the latest version.

When the Boom is turned on, the bluetooth light blinks rapidly. It won't connect to any devices over bluetooth any more.

UE BOOM 2: Why is the sound not playing when Im try to listen to FB videos?

I recently just bought my Boom 2 and I was listening to music and when I tried to play a video on Facebook but nothing could be heard. It did pause my music and I checked to see if the volume was down but it was not. I disconnected through Bluetooth and then I could hear the video fine through my phone. I connected it again through Bluetooth and no sound. I checked my Facebook setting for volume and that part was fine. So I checked YouTube as well as other apps that I watch videos on and I could hear it through the speaker. Is there anyone who could help me fix this or let me know if it does not work for FB so that I can know and just not connected with it while on FB? Thanks in Advance
