It got inside the little tiny hole and when I’m talking to my friends on Xbox they can’t hear me at all

Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One: How to replace broken off phone jack?

My kids have broken off their xbox one phone jacks on their headsets. I have purchased new 4 conductor phone jacks from mouser.com but I can not figure out how ot handle the conductors nor what terminal each one should be soldered to. There appears to be six individual conductors, coaxial inside of each other in three sets. Looks kind of like magnet wire. Can I assume the three outer, sort of sheilding wire looking conductors are the ground, and the three inner ones are individual positive wires? I've done several google searches and have come up empty.

Thank you.

Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One: Help rewire my microphone headset please!

My cats chewed through my $70 gaming headset. There are three wires (they all look copper). One is covered in thin green wire, one in blue, and one in red. There is white insulation. How do I rewire? Do I connect all the copper wires underneath the color wires and then connect the colored wires separately?

Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One: Headset 3.5mm jack replacement xo one wire colours

My son has worn out his XO one headset to the extent that the left headphone speaker would no longer work. I opted to buy a 4 pole 3.5mm jack and replace.

Thought it would be simple with 4 wires Left speaker, Right speaker Mic and ground but when cutting through wire i find only three wires which im stuggling to work out which is which.

At first it looks like you have 3 wires Red, Blue and Green. But that is just the colour of the wire insulation covering the main wires.

So if you split the insulated wires you are laft with Red, Green, Peach wires and there insulation Red, Blue and Green.

Can anybody explain which are speaker, mic and ground to attach to new jack.
