Turntable: My record player makes a scratching noise when the platter spins?

My record player makes a scratching noise when the platter spins. The sound seems to come from the spindle in the middle. When I slightly pull the spindle to the left, the scratching stops, but when I let go it starts again. This makes me think the spindle or platter might be rubbing against something inside, and I don’t know how to fix it.

Pro-Ject Debut III: pictures pcb for debut 3 phono and connector block

I wondered if anyone had any pictures of the PCB on a Debut iii phono, I replaced the motor which is all fine but i accidently pull the leads off the pcb, I have soldered them back on but only have one channel now, i have attached a couple of photo's, if someone could have a look to see if i have soldered them back on correctly?

What is best way to open turntable assembly to replace the two RCA output jacks after the male ends of the speaker cables broke off in the jacks and cannot be removed? Also, is there a specific pair of output jacks that Audio Technica used for original and where can they be obtained for replacement ?

Sony PS-LX300USB: No power ever to my Sony Turntable? Help.

We have a brand new PS-LX300USB but live in Fiji so limited access to warranty and repairers.

Assembled just as advised. No power. Took the back off to check it was all in order. all connections look right but start key doesn’t click and when plugged in and you mannually spin it doesn’t turn on or spin.

any suggestions for repair would be appreciated.

Victrola Empire Record Player: My turntable is slow

Hi all I've had my turntable now for about 2 years, hardly used it tbh. I've more recently been using it but it's has started being slow. I have took the table off cleand the belt and and removed any excess grease and it's perfect for about 5 mins and then it going slow again. Any ideas... maybe the belt ?

AT-LP60X: Tone Arm is Lifting at the beginning

I have a AT-LP60X-BK Turntable. When I press start the tonearm moves over the record in the start position but when it drops on the record it immediately comes back up and parks and turns off. Is there an adjustment to fix this?

I was playing a record (Shel Silverstein's Drain My Brain, 2025 colored vinyl) and I put it on Side B. Sounds like a normal thing, right? As soon as the music started playing, it was highly distorted. Any answers?

I have an old PYE 1601 Music Centre (turntable, cassette, radio) that we bought from a charity shop. Unfortunately it came without a needle installed and I have been unable to find any documentation regarding a compatible needle to buy. The cartridge would also likely need replacing I am told. Does anyone out there know what I should be looking for?
