03 Toyota Matrix slight trans leakage until I stopped at a light and was barely able to limp drive it off the road. Towed home , found and fixed a loose hose from the top, added 1gal trans fluid, started vehicle, hose repair fine, put into gear and easily a quart gushed out in a thick stream before engine off and back into park. The pan is dry all the way around, and a small drip continued from up higher and in between trans pan and oil pan. My question is of course, what the hey is located in that area that can release that much fluid at once? Thank you for any advice on this matter.

I had to see a mechanic to find the source of the check engine light because it wouldn’t pass inspection unless the light was out. He said I had four codes. Also, the blower motor was burnt out.

He replaced a few components in the interior of the engine, installed a new battery and a new battery brace. He put in a new blower motor behind the dashboard compartment and a new AC filter.

He charged me $410 in labor which seems way too much.

Since the repairs, I’ve had water entering my vehicle’s interior on the passenger side. The mechanic claims he knows nothing about it. The water sloshes to the back passenger side.

Where should I be looking to find where water is getting into interior on passenger side?

I have a 2004 Toyota matrix xrs with the 2zz ge

I recently replaced my rear exhaust header gasket to to a prior lean code due to it having a Secondary Air Injection Pump Check Valve since I did I now have the p0171 and a p0303 3r cylinder misfire.i have done a compression test and a vacuum test both fine, have done coil packs, spark plugs and injectors and tested it all. Also have done every gasket on manafold and throttle have replaced the maf and tps put still getting these codes. The car starts up with rpms about normal but rough, have aslo replaced upstream o2 witch was bad have not done second. It only has 186k new clutch and master and fork ecta I have sprayed brake cleaner everywhere and cannot find a leak.im stressed out .I just wanna drive my car. Please help

I had a mechanic put in a new blower motor because the old one stopped working.

Now the new one works sometimes and sometimes not.

Is there a fuse, a switch, a resistor that can be checked? Where are they? How do I access them?

2003-2008 Toyota Matrix: Cruise control light on but wont set

2003 Toyota Matrix cruise control light comes on but will not set. Break lights work so think break switch is good. No DTC's. Speedometer works, not sure if speed controlle sensors controller speedometer. Don't want to change sensors randomly but still cheaper than diagnostics labor at garage which they would probably have to change sensors to solve too since no DTC'S. Is there an order of which you would change first? Are steering wheel column switches known to go bad on these? Any other recommendations?
