2018-2024 Toyota Camry: Backup camera not working

I have a 2019 Camry; a few years after purchasing, the backup camera would occasionally cut to black while functioning, or simply show a black screen, while other times it worked fine. There was no debris on the lens and I saw no visible damage to the back of the camera or any of the easily accessible wires.

Since then, it cut out for good and has not resumed; every time I reverse, it's a black screen. Something must be working, because I do get the proximity "beeps" when someone is behind me.

Asked the repair shop and was quoted $1,500 - any suggestions?

2007-2011 Toyota Camry: Air-conditioning temperature control issue

The automatic climate control system does not function properly upon starting the vehicle. The AC fails to blow cold air at standard temperature settings (e.g., 22°C / 72°F) and will only begin cooling if the thermostat is manually forced to its absolute lowest setting ("MAX AC" / "LO"). Once the cabin cools down under this maximum setting, the temperature can then be adjusted back up to a preferred comfortable level, and it will hold that temperature normally for the remainder of the drive. This issue occurs every time the car is started.

2025-Present Toyota Camry: Access built-in dash cam power cord?

I researched this and found that my 2025 Toyota hybrid LE has a built-in power cord for the dash cam. I purchased the appropriate Dongar part to tap into it (5 pin).

I let down the ceiling part containing the lights, SOS button, and glasses holder. Just four plastic clips. Takes some tugging, but not difficult at all. I found the power cord plugged into a blank male part attached to the ceiling with a plastic piece (see pictures).

My problem? I cannot unplug the power cord from the holder. I can't budge the white plastic piece holding the assembly to the roof either (although I can pop it off its base). I don't want to force anything unless I know I am pushing on the right thing.

Any ideas how to get the cord unplugged?

2012-2017 Toyota Camry: Why is my camry dying?

2016 camry. Stalls only in extreme heat. 113 or higher. Runs fine otherwise. Sounds like possible engine misfires then accelerator becomes unresponsive. Car dies. After sitting for 10 minutes it runs fine for about 5 or 10 minutes then dies again. Mechanic couldn't figure it out due to lack of codes. Any ideas?
