Honeywell HY-254-TGT: Synchronous Motor Replacement Part

I am replacing the synchronous motor in this tower fan model and have found a suitable replacement. However, the original motor has a white plastic arm attached to the motor by way of a hollow metal pin running perpendicular to the motor shaft.

How is this white plastic arm removed or where can I get a replacement?

Ionic Breeze: My ionic breeze makes a constant clicking noise t.

The rapid clicking noise started after a routine cleaning. I always air dry for 24hrs after a cleaning so I know it wasn't a moisture problem. I cleaned it again, rinsed thoroughly, still clicking. I run it anyway but am concerned that the noise indicates a problem.

Lasko 4910: Trying to fix a Lasko Tower Fan, Model 4920

The fan now operates only on the "LOW" Speed setting. Trying to select "MEDIUM" or "HIGH" from the keypad or remote control has no effect. In fact, the Remote Control unit doesn't seem to function at all. (and yes, I did check the batteries ;->)

Here is the information on the name plate:

LASKO E20739 Blower Fan

Type TFB

CS6082065177

120 VAC, 60 hz, 1.0 Amp

Model: 4920

I reached out to Lasko's online customer support and received the following reply:

"Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, Encompass has no Service Parts or Literature available for your model. We apologize for any inconvenience".

Does anyone out there have any ideas about how to troubleshoot & fix this item? THANKS!

Tower fan: Doesn't act like it has any power at all

So I got a fan that didn't work for free to fiddle with and I've got it taken apart and it has power, I used a multimeter and connecting a couple of wire to the leads via solder I was able to get the different functions to work, I'm new to using one but the multimeter stayed at 0. Anyways I was wondering what it could be or if I could just hard wire the high and low settings to an external switch.

Vornado Duo: Trusty Vornado Duo stopped running

The blue light on the power indicator comes on, but no movement. If the light is on, could that be the fuse? Before it stopped working it was tweeting a little, slowing down and coming right back up to full speed. It may have been doing that all day, as I leave it running when I’m not in the room — I only noticed it for a while, I kinda thought it was maybe a brownout situation in the neighborhood… before I really thought about it it was just done… still had the blue light though…

Honeywell HY-254-TGT: Room temperature quickly rises?!?

We bought the tower fan yesterday & it looks great & the air blown on you is nice along with it being quiet. But the problem is, as soon as I turn the fan on I’m watching the room temperature rise, rapidly?!? It goes from 23.9 degrees C up to 25 DC IN A MATTER OF MINUTES ?!? I bought the fan for my toddlers room to help to keep her body temperature regulated and at a safe temperature during these hot nights but I’m now very worried that the fan is doing the opposite. I’m watching the temperature drop in front of my eyes after turning off the fan & opening the window wider. My daughter sleeps in a small nursery with the door & window open. The same occurs with the door & window closed. Please advise, thank you! Kay

Seville Classics MSC10166: How do I raise the Fan blade? It's scraping and I can't run it.

The Fan rotating blade looks like it is jammed down too low and is scraping on and hitting the inside plastic frame so that I can't run it. I don't have the strength to pull the blade up so that it will no longer hit the framing. I've tried using pliers to hold the stem and turning the fan both ways and I can not turn it and I do not have anyone to help me. It is really hot and this fan would help to get thru all this heat.

Please tell me how I can do this.

Thank you.
