The Screen on my Toshiba Chromebook 2 has recently started flickering and going black for a few seconds. When hooked into an external display, the external display works perfectly. Do you believe a replacement screen will fix this problem?

So yeah, the title explains it all. I was face timing a friend one day and I picked the computer up, I heard a snap as if I were snapping something back in, and the base was loose. I look closer, and three nails are missing. the middle, top left, and middle left. what screws do I need, where do I get them, what screwdriver do I need, and can I tighten them from the outside, or do I need to unhook the back. Thank you!!

Hi all, I’m trying to replace the keyboard for this chrome book, the power key and some other important keys stopped working . I have looked online and I am finding the palm rest replacement for around £20. Would this also include the keyboard in most cases?

Everyone knows that normally shutting down system is just about some seconds, just yesterday I noticed that my system is hanging up, and hard to shut down, so i just long press power button and I removed one of the RAM, it work fine, after some minutes it hang up again, letter I noticed one of the slot is at failut,

So the major problem is why the system is hanging and why it takes an hour shutting down?????

Good evening guys.. I’m frustrated.. I cleaned dust of my old laptop and when I put everything back together it wont start. ( Battery was dead before , only was working when plugged in ). There is only white and orange lights. Thats it, when pressing power button all lights turns on for a second and turns off straight away. Tried to change ram slots, plugged in and out all cables but nothing helps.. tried youtube videos, but useless..

Toshiba Chromebook: My Toshiba Portege laptop is running slow after windows updates

Hi.

I have a Toshiba Portege laptop ( intel core i5, 8gb RAM, 255 SDD) about 3-4years old. Recently i find the laptop running very slow .. infact sometimes lags .. this is especially after the windows updates … Further Yahoo does not work properly on this … cannot really use Yahoo mails etc as it is very very slow.

The It guy has also formatted the laptop once.. but even then no difference.

Can anyone please help .. to diagnose what’s the problem and what could be the solution.

Toshiba Chromebook 2: Why does my screen on my turn pink and have ghosting intermittently?

My chromebook has started to have an intermittent problem where the screen turns pink for a few seconds or sometimes upto a minute. When it does this there are often frame freezes and ghosting . Moving the screen hinge seems to have no effect. Its out of warranty so how can I get it fixed?

Purchased a new battery because the device is not turning on with battery alone. Must plug in adapter. LCD light is blinking red and green with adapter plugged in. Battery icon states that battery is full- but the second I unplug the adapter, the computer shuts off .

For the bottom cover, the Phillips 8.25 mm screws? The iFixit parts store doesn’t have a Toshiba kit and I’m not sure if Acer would work.
