Hello, anyone know the model of headphone mount used? The 4 pin configuration is making it difficult to find a replacement. My kids broke the mount completely, now the unit is stuck in headphone mode but headphones cannot be plugged in.

Toniebox: Can Tonie figure RFID be placed into a different figurine? English Q&A

Hi. In US and have imported Toniebox and Tonies from UK. Looking at taking RFID chip from a Creative Tonie and placing into something like a Disney Vinylmation or other figurine. What steps would be needed? Is it just the RFID chip, or is the magnet also required for operation? Any advice in English would be welcome - I did see an answer in German, but the translation through Google is mediocre at best. :) Thanks in advance!

Toniebox: T1 on first-generation Toniebox heavily burned

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to repair my Toniebox and I’m having trouble identifying the component labeled T1 on the PCB. The part is completely burned, so unfortunately there is no readable marking left (I’ve attached close-up photos of the component as well as a wider view of the board, showing the location where T1 sits - at the intersection of the two red arrows).

T1 has three pins, so it might be some kind of transistor, but I haven’t been able to determine what it actually is.

To investigate further, I borrowed another Toniebox to compare. On that unit, T1 is marked with "720", but it seems to be a newer hardware revision with a different PCB layout — so I’m not sure whether the component is the same.

My faulty Toniebox is most likely from the first generation.

And just to give you an idea of how dead it is: it doesn’t show the slightest sign of life — not even when plugged into a power supply. It’s basically in full “sleeping beauty” mode…

If anyone has information about this component, or could check on their own device, I would be extremely grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance and many greetings!

Toniebox: Best place to get motherboard repaired

I have a toniebox2 that was dropped, breaking a connector from the motherboard to the top magnetic play part. I noticed the motherboard broke with one of the pins when it broke the solders. Is there anywhere that can repair the motherboard and connector, or is it even worth it?

Toniebox: Flashing red and green, no error message

I've bought a few Tonieboxes from returns pallets, most of them are working fine just been a bit of time connecting them for the first time.

But one fault I can't seem to fix is when it doesnt do the "hello" message, and flashed green and red without any obvious pattern.

Anybody have ideas what the issue is and is it able to be resolved?

Thanks in advance
